Several friends of Italian descent and I recently had lunch at Al Castello. We found it to be somewhat dated in appearance, but what mattered was the food. We each ordered different pasta dishes and found them good, but not outstanding. The Penne Bolognese was tasty as was the Spaghetti Carbonara. The many desserts offered were very good. I rated... This restaurant is hidden in a small strip mall on Bascom Avenue and is hard to locate unless you have a good GPS device. But the food is just great and portions are liberal. We had garlic bread, fettuccine pesto. scaloppini d'melanze, cheese ravioli etc among a few desrve mentioning. They were all tasty and well prepared as good as... More

My husband and I went the Al Castello's Restaurant last weekend. We like the restaurant because we can always walk in and get a seat fairly quickly. The food is good, and I love the choices on their Menu. I especially like the Manicotti, Cannelloni, Chicken and Veal Parm. and the Special Spinach salad.. I recommend it Give it a... More

Italian food, family atmosphere, welcoming and delicious. If you've been to chain Italians, come here instead and see what real food can be like, buffalo mozzarella and if you are used to chain pizza, come here and find out what fresh tastes like.

Very popular Italian but I thought it was awful. No taste to the food. Risotto too salty, Calamari no taste at all. Sauce like out of a can. Scaloppine no taste, pasta no taste. But yet this place is packed full of people seeming to be enjoying the food. So I guess it must be me. Too used to the... More

The place got very crowded after about 6:30. The prices are reasonable, the service was good, and the food was good too.

Recently tried on recommendation of a friend. We love it when a "strip mall" restaurant turns out to be truly outstanding; this is one of those secret places! Excellent service and lots of classics on the menu. We enjoyed the House made Gnocchi (pillowy and tender) and a luscious calzone. Fritto Misto was very tasty elevated with fresh gremolata (slightly... More

A hidden gem of an Italian Cuisine. Pay no attention to the unassuming exterior. The real treats are inside. The staff is attentive and the food is excellent. From one Italian to another, è molto buono!

This was within walking distance of our Hotel "Bristol Inn" I had the seafood pasta. No skimping on the large prawns and other seafood. The side salad brought me down memory lane as to how my Italian grandmother had prepare. It is quite authentic. You will love it.
