I had visited this restaurant years ago, and was not left with any memorable impression, other than the festive Mexican decor. With several Mexican restaurants in the area, my husband and I decided to try it again for a Cinco de Mayo dinner out. We were seated after about a ten-minute wait. (May 5th fell on a Friday this year.)... More

We've dined at this restaurant half a dozen times over the last several years and the food has always been very good. The flavors are distinct and the food is always served piping hot. The service is good and the staff know the menu pretty well. There have been a couple of times when a guitarist was playing and that... More

We go to Que Viva when we want good, fast Mexican food. The chili rellanos are great. We have had the fajitas and enchiladas. All great. Makes me hungry just reviewing this restaurant.

They have more good nights than bad, but if something isn't right they will fix it right away. The specials are always good, and we also have our favorites, which include the chili rellanos and chimichangas. Most of the waitstaff has been there for years, and are always welcoming. We love going Friday -Saturday nights for live music, Moises is... More

My husband and I have frequented this restaurant for many years and we are never disappointed. The owners are a very sweet couple and work very hard. They are so personable, and Moses is also a very talented musician and performs many weekend evenings. The place had an authentic motif and feels cozy. I've read a few poor reviews and... More

Come here often with friends. The deco needs updating and "Brightening". Food is pretty good. The Negra Modelo on draft is wonderful on a hot day. Music on Sat nights is good also.

Worst Mexican food ever! Absolutely no flavor, no spices, just blah. The red hot sauce tastes like it came out of a squeeze bottle. Big waste of money!

We went there for a family birthday party and were very pleased. The food took awhile (very little staff that night) but the food was wonderful. Good selections, nicely prepared.

We've eaten at Que Viva twice in the last few weeks and the food is great, especially their specials. Last night we had the spinach enchiladas and they were wonderful. A really nice touch is the warm chips and salsa that come to each table. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Cameron Park.
