Driving by Wheel Inn on I-10, it's really easy to miss. If you are heading east, you may be dazzled by the Morongo Casino and the Outlet Mall. By the time you recover, you wonder if those dinosaurs were just your imagination. With the Burger...More

The chicken fried steak was from Smart and Final and too high for what it was...(they made their money back on what I was charged) for 1 serving. They sell high end dog treats in the lobby that are at least 1 year past the...More

I've never had a meal here but have stopped for a Date Shake to go. I do know the staff is friendly and the date shakes, besides being a feast, have health-giving properties. You will feel better after having one.

The Wheel Inn has been there as long as I can remember -- at least since 1964 when we moved to California. If you've been on the 10 freeway and have driven through Cabazon (between Banning and Palm Springs), you've driven by this restaurant. The...More

We had breakfast at the Wheel Inn, a long-time landmark in Cabazon. The chicken fried steak was hot, crispy, and served with a good cream gravy. The coffee was good, and served with half and half, often missing at smaller establishments. My mom had the...More

The portions are large and very good at this quaint truck stop-style restaurant. Far from the glitz of the nearby casino, or even the nearby outlets, it's comfort food served with care - and even buffalo heads and other displays on the walls. And there...More
