I have eaten at Stella Alpina Osteria a number of times and the food, service and atmosphere have always been excellent. And the prices, though not cheap, are definitely more than fair for what you get.

This is our favorite local spot for a quiet night out without the kids. Terrific food and good service every time. We particularly like the burrata caprese and the orecchiette.

We went with a large group and ordered family style small plates - everything was delicious. We had some food restrictions and the staff worked with us to provide those that needed it with a modified course. The gnocchi with pesto was absolutely fantastic - one of the best pasta dishes we have ever had.

Good food, and a nice atmosphere - however, it can get a bit crowded in the evenings and the spacing between tables is a bit on the tight side. Good food

Best upscale food in town. Which doesn't mean that there are tons of towns 10 minutes away with better restaurants. This place is a bit cramped but it's comfortable enough. Good wine list, especially Italian. Try the nocchi with truffles - to die for. Not cheap.

Server was personable and very attentive to the diners' interests. Gnocchi is excellent. Scallops too on the lemon risotto. Here is your helpful hint: Parking can often be found near the library.

Stella Osteria Alpina takes reservations which is great since they are always busy with large groups ( 12 people ) and the space is limited. We had the gnocchi for appetizer which comes with a delicious sage sauce. It was even divided into two plates. The bread is freshly made there and to die for. We ordered the risotto and... More

Everything about this restaurant was wonderful. The gnocchi are truly amazing. I am not a gnocchi fan (except those in Italy) but these were the right texture and the flavor was outstanding. I would travel here just to eat them!! Do not forego the opportunity. The staff was great and the rest of the meal really special. Highly recommend.

Recommended by the hotel. Great atmosphere, great service and the fettuccine was unbelievably good. Try it out but go early.

I love the food here. Always top notch. I. Have been here on dates, for business, and for casual happy hour with friends. Even though I do frequent the place bar and restaurant, I am not a regular. As a regular, I can imagine that you get superior service. If you are not a regular, here is what you will... More
