It's been twenty years since we last dined at Kincaids and we couldn't wait. It was wonderful walking into the waterside restaurant after so many years and finding it still looks great. We felt the old magic of fine dining while having a beverage at...the "library" bar. Unfortunately, it looks like Kincaids is just one more "nothing special Landry restaurant" now. The prime rib we ordered "medium" was so rare, it was mooing and the cut was more tough than melt in your mouth tender. The ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes tasted fake. The Caesar was good but overall, what a disappointing meal. Despite the service being outstanding, I don't think we'll be back.More

Very disappointing. Had not been here in years. This restaurant use to be one of the best. Food was over priced and not prepared well. No real taste. Appetizer's were cold. Could not belive our waiter was trying to get all of us to sign...up for some kind of membership. Felt like we were at a cheep buffy in Las Vagus. Would not recommend Kincaids Burligame to anyone. Defentily will not be returning. What a shame.More

Myself and my spouse had a dinner at Kincaid's restaurant which is located in Burlingame, CA. The restaurant located Infront of the sea. It has an amazing view, specially before the sunset. There is plenty of parking outside the restaurant. We tried Salmon Ceviche and...Lobs Bisque. The food was very delicious and it was enough for more than 2 persons. The service was very quick and the price was some what high. We liked the food. I recommend it for people who like Sea food. You must try the sea food soup.More

Friday evening dinner hosted by me and my wife for our daughter and her husband, our son and his wife and our 3 school age grandchildren. There was no special occasion except the fact that it was our first dinner as a family in a...restaurant since the beginning of the pandemic. Food was good, nice ambiance, friendly table service by Letty although I felt the restaurant is a little bit short staffed. I expected a little bit more attentive service for the price I paid. Will go back.More

I've had more flavor from a prime rib that cost 27 bucks. This is supposed to be aged 100 days and I needed to add salt. For a $50 cut, I expected better. Perhaps, aged then seasoned with a sprinkle of salt.

I have been to their restaurant in Minneapolis, and loved it. My dining experience in the San Francisco bay area was truly ok. Our waitress was excellent, and made many recommendations to my wife and me on what to order, and why. I accepted a...couple of her recommendations, and decided against a couple of her suggestions. My wife ordered the sea bass dinner, clam chowder, and a sparkling wine. I chose the 12 ounce prime rib with the chop salad with blue cheese dressing, seasonal veggies, and a Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. My chop salad with the blue cheese dressing was excellent. My 12 ounce prime rib was basically 6 ounces of pure fat. I was totally disappointed! My veggies were blackened past being recognizable or edible. My wife described her sea bass as "ok, not particularly good." She loved her clam chowder. Both of us liked our wine choices. Bottom line, we had dinner at a fine dining price, but received a dinner that didn't match the "fine dining" criteria. Disappointed...a definite yes.More

A converted Victora Station (train cars are gone) is now owned by the corporate entertainment consortium Landry's . Nice atmosphere and reasonably quiet with a great view of the Bay. The parking lot is security patrolled. The atmosphere is nice and open. The staff is...pleasant and courteous. The appetizer of spicy Asian beef bits was nicely presented and very good which hightened our expectations for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, that resulted in much disappointment. One person ordered Prime Rib, medium. What she got was a tender medium-rare unseasoned bland slice of meat. She sent it back and tried the crab cakes but it was so salty she could not eat it. She also ordered the Lobster Bisque which was reasonably good. Ultimately she shared her fiance's halibut which he described as delicious. We had clam chowder that while having plenty of clams, the soup itself was watery and somewhat bland. I also had a Caesar Salad and Crab Cake. The salad was good, but the crab cake came immersed with a mountain of corn and polenta on top of it. with a few radish sprouts on top of that. My first impression of it was 'Barf on a Plate". After getting over the initial impression I ate it but, given my compromised taste buds, I did not notice all the salt. One patron also had a blue cheese salad which was ok. Our desserts were the recommended key lime pie and strawberry shortcake. The key lime pie was made with bottled lime juice. The shortcake was dry and mealy with limited berries. The service was spotty but good when it occurred. The manager comped my friend's meal and was supposed to comp the dessert for her as well. However, the dessert appeared on the bill. Dinner for 3 with 3 alcoholic drinks, tax and without tips or other beverages, but with a comped main course was $270. I included a tip but it never appeared on my card charge which meant the servicer got nothing. Have no idea who was responsible for that. The 3 included drinks were priced out at $50. It is unlikely we will ever return and I would not recommend.More

Overall a nice restaurant with beautiful evening views of the SF bay. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. Food was good/average. Fish was slightly dry but it was still good. Would come back as menu was diverse and a nice place to unwind after...a day of flying.More

Just around the corner from my hotel near the San Francisco airport is Kincaid's--a place with floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the bay (and of the steady stream of landing aircraft coming in to SFO). I dined alone as I was...traveling for business. My server was terrific and very attentive, even though not long after I was seated she acquired a party of 10 people and midway through my meal she picked up yet another party of 10. My cocktail was very good as was the fried calamari with two good dipping sauces. I chose a sirloin steak and added the sauteed shrimp as a side. The shrimp were the evening's only disappointment: it was a $12 supplement (though my bill showed only a $10 charge) but that translated to 3 average-size shrimp. At almost $4 a shrimp, they needed to be extra special and they were not. The steak, however, was a perfect medium rare as I had ordered it and had a great depth of flavor. The meal came with what they call a Yukon Gold potato fondant and I must learn how to do this. The whole, skin-on potato was soft as a pillow and the herb and butter flavoring somehow went all the way through--just delicious. A dessert of cheesecake with caramel sauce finished off a nice evening.More

Nicely situated on the water beside the flight path for SFO allows for nice views of incoming planes while dining. Food and drinks were very good. Wait staff was friendly and hustled quite a bit (maybe they had too many tables each, but did a...good job nonetheless). Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed their meal and drinks. Would return again when in the area.More

I had high hopes here after reading the other reviews. I ordered the wedge salad which was more of just a regular salad with romaine lettuce. Then I ordered the prime rib and Dungeness crab. I asked for the crab to be served without the...sauce and the waitress said that is easy and no worries. The prime rib was over done and under seasoned and somewhat cool to the touch. Like it waited a while to get brought to the table. The crab was in the sauce. Neither were terrible. Neither were really all that good. And it’s a pricey place for the quality.More

This restaurant is a little off the beaten path but worth the drive. I had the pork chop which was delicious and my wife enjoyed her Baja Striped Bass. The service was excellent and we were waited on hand and foot.

During a business trip we decided to spend Thanksgiving at Kincaids. Our server Anthony was excellent, the Turkey was excellent, the Romaine salads were excellent, the several appetizers we ordered were excellent, the seafood combo was very good, the coffee was excellent and the deserts...were excellent. What dropped the rating from 5 stars to 4 was the worst Prime Rib we have ever experienced at any restaurant. Sizzler and Golden Coral would put Kincaids Prime Rib to shame. It was full of fat and full of veins. Both the $50 cuts and the $44 cuts had the same issue. The only thing that stopped me from sending everything back was the Thanksgiving Holiday. We had a lot to be thankful for and we were not going to let Prime Rib ruin our night, the servers night, the Managers night and most important - the cooks night- it was that bad. If you plan to visit Kincaids whether in Burlingame or Redondo Beach and they have Prime Rib, tell your server that if they deliver you a cut of meat full of veins and fat, you will send it back. Hope everyone had a happy and healthy Thanksgiving with friends and family. For Thanksgiving It was not about the meal, it is about friends and family, and other than the Prime Rib, it was a very nice evening. We will give Kincaids another shot either in Redondo or Burlingame some time in the future and do a follow up review.More

Walking mid-afternoon alone along Bay Trail, I saw that Kincaid's was open. I stopped in for a glass of wine. I was seated at the bar. Bartender Chris was a friendly guy. I had a glass of very nice Cabernet. Then I decided I may...as well have an early dinner. I ordered a salad with blue cheese crumbles, bacon. It was a large portion for one person, but it was so tasty I ate the whole thing. I also had a filet mignon medium rare. Couldn't have been cooked better, it was delicious. Came with a potato and asparagus. Wonderful dinner with great service. Nice early Saturday evening.More
