Anyone who likes Asian cuisine will be thrilled to dine here, where the flavors of diverse cultures mingle more harmoniously than the nation the restaurant represents. Burmese food incorporates ingredients and techniques from the cuisines of its neighbors Thailand and Laos to the east, Bangladesh,...More

Everytime we eat at Mingalaba, we over-order on the appetizers and the salads. We're so stuffed after 6 to 8 varieties, we don't seem to make it to their mains. I think we only went that far when we were 10 diners! Their food is...More

This small restaurant has some of the best Nepalese and Northern Chinese food I've ever tasted. The Rainbow salad is a must! The Mongolian beef and orange chicken are succulent and ever so tasty. Paired with a bottle of Honda Pinot, this is a meal...More

We've eaten at Mingalaba many times and obviously always enjoy there. Most everything is very good, but the only thing I recall specifically to recommend is their delicious Nan Gyi Dok. Wow, they sure make it great.

We enjoyed the delicious green tea leaf salad starter and then went on to the chicken main dishes + desert. If you are in for a Burmese treat - this it it!

People really seem to rave about this restaurant, but we found it to just be average and very pricey. Mango salad is a real treat. I would go back for it alone any time. Better than the typical papaya salad. Also had palata which is...More

Reviews seemed so positive we decided to try while in Burlingame. The restaurant decor is nothing fancy but it seemed popular so I assumed the food was going to be great. The food was good. The menu provided plenty of selection. Where they fall short...More

This place gets busy fast, so be sure to book a table. They serve a variety of dishes, with different heat and cater well to vegetarians. I found the appetizers expensive, over $10 for 4 small samosas, but they were really tasty. Service was good...More

Reading the reviews and seeing the menu list and prices made us have some expectations. Lunch was not cheap, service was very pushy and not attentive. Food was average at best, spicy food was more like mild. Overall not a great experience. Still having food...More

I think they're $8 to $12 per dish, pretty generous which encourages sharing.

I would think so as I believe rice is gluten free, and they use chickpea flour in their falafel ball soup. You'd have to check ~ Usually asian food is fairly easily navigated ~
