This place is delicious and has great service. We had the danish pancakes and homemade jam, yummy! I only take off one star because they did not have non-dairy creamers for their super strong coffee.

Came here because of the very high reviews on Yelp. The food was very good and service was wonderful. It was very busy on Saturday morning and it was pretty obviously a favorite of the locals.

I recently visited Solvang and on the way home we happened upon this small restaurant for breakfast. The food is amazing! The prices are kind of high, I paid more for breakfast than I did dinner the night before at Split Pea Anderson’s, but it’s...More

Loved that the menus were already on the tables . The Danish style pancakes were amazing and the portions were generous. Obviously a very popular place for locals and travelers alike. Service was great and was glad our teammate recommended it.

Ellen's is in Buellton, which is where the men stayed in the move, Sideways. It is about four miles from the Danish-style town of Solvang, and we stopped at Ellen's on the way to a Sunday stroll through the little town. Ellen's is similar to...More

Ellen's was recommended for Sunday morning breakfast as Pancake house in Solvang can get very crowded with a long wait on weekends. The food was good and wait wasn't long but I believe there was only one waitress on the floor so service was slow....More

We were late for a winery tour, so rather than stand in line in Solvang, we stayed in Buellton and went to Ellen's. We were seated immediately, waited on promptly and served really good food in a timely manor. The staff was friendly and we...More

Why title my review "Not Too Crowded"? We had a 9 month old with us and needed space for a high chair, but you could even park a stroller beside the table here. There is enough space so that you have a feeling a privacy...More

We were a little disappointed in our brunch here - expected better based on the reviews. Service was very nice and friendly, but food was average. My pancake was good, but the sausage was actually burnt. Wouldn't rush back.

Honestly, it is a cowboy eatin' house. They may claim a vegetarian or vegan menu but I would not be to anxious to try it.
