We came in for lunch today having driven specifically for it. The waiter didn't speak English and he made us feel like we were disturbing him. He spent most of the time hiding in the kitchen on his phone. We had to chase him for...bread and to order drinks. Despite the service being dreadful, I could have forgiven them if the food was good. But it was not. My partner had a bowl of soup which was very salty, then goose liver on chocolate bread. A weird combination. I ordered Salmon and the veg was cold and the whole dish was heavily salted and oiled. We had three dishes and they were all wasted. The waiter never did a check back or asked what was wrong or nothing. I was extremely disappointed and will not recommend or return. Worst meal in Romania.More

If you are in the region and have some time to relax and eat, this restaurant should not be missed. I ve eaten in a lot of places and this is definitely among top ten as food quality/taste and clearly location. The service is not...the fastest and probably best if you are not in a hurry but the food is worth the wait. We stayed for several nights at the hotel so we had time to enjoy several dishes but i would recommend the duck with camembert cheese and sour cherry or the apple pie as desert(optionally with ice cream on top). The prices are fair for dining such as this since we spent around 50eur in average for 2 persons and a 4 year old kid. We highly recommend it.More

Quiet place in a roses garden, the Castle Haller restaurant has only a few meals, but they are very good and appealing. Don't miss!

A restaurant with character. Food is fresh and tasty, well served and similarly presented. The place succeeds in transporting the customers back in time while providing them with all modern comforts.

Although this is a castle, a fully restored castle (and done in style, with a lot of good taste), the restaurant seemed cheap compared to what they offer. We stopped just for a coffee, but ended up also having a dessert and spending about an...hour around the property. The cakes were really good and beware - the portions are huge. The place looks like in its old days (I assume) and it makes you feel like a noble. And the way they decorated the yard tells you just how much good taste the owners and the organizers have. In the near future I expect we will spend at least one night at the castle; until then I definitely recommend the place at least for its restaurant.More

Charming setting. We only had a small lunch there, two average soups, a decent apple pie and a good elderly flowers sorbet. Based on what we had it'd be a 3 star rating, but i guess other people with more hunger/ time to spend would...have a better fare. The hotel seems very pleasantMore

A very pleasant surprise, a place that makes you come back in time. Pleasant atmosphere, a very good restaurant with fine menu and good price. The staff is kind and helpful. It features a swimming pool and a spa.

A location with charm, good service, the food is tasty and the atmosphere is pleasant. Desert Somloi Galuska was a disappointment , cook had a bad day when it was prepared , and gave me the impression that this dessert has nothing to do with...this place. A pleasure to come back here but I will choose another dessertMore
