We've been back several times for breakfast and lunch. This trip was breakfast, the little out of the way hole in the wall was busy. At least we could stand inside out of the rain while waiting for a table. Once seated we got menus, water and a warning that they were slow. We get that every time so we... More

Located behind Mexican restaurant at intersection of See Vee Lane and Highway 395. Good Mexican style breakfast and lunch plus some American food. Closed on Tuesday and Wednesdays and open from 0700 until 2pm. Comparing to other restaurants in the area the food is great and people are friendly. Building is a bit old and rustic but the food is... More

The Village is hidden off of Hwy 395 but well worth the effort to find and enjoy. In the winter, a gas burning stove keeps the dining room warm and the coffee hits the table as you do. A wide assortment of choices for breakfast (I've only eaten there for breakfast) that are tasty, well presented and with service that... More

We own a condo in Mammoth, but make it a point to have a breakfast in the FUNKIEST diner in town. And that's saying something. It's a house that has more angles than an Escher painting, which adds to the atmosphere. The cottage fries should be enshrined, and I just get the "Daily Special" no matter what it is. The... More

The one cook works out of a tiny kitchen so don't expect your food in mere minutes. But it's worth the wait! Eggs benedict are fantastic, all from scratch. The home fried spuds were beyond fantastic. Omelets are great too. And for lunch they have a wide variety of burgers and sandwiches, all made to order. They are a bit... More

We all had breakfast, they were all very good to excellent. It was Sunday and they were so busy, but bent over backwards to offer great service! It is a basic café in décor and they have a small, but protected patio for nice days. Dog friendly outside.

My son and I spent the weekend in Mammoth and decided to eat breakfast in Bishop during our travel back to So Cal. We've been traveling through Bishop for many years and have always eaten along the main road through town. I was looking for something different and I saw a parking lot full of cars in front of the... More

Food is basic but plentiful and very tasty. Wait staff is friendly and efficient. We had the trip tip sandwich twice! Tender meat and very nice side salad.

We stopped here for a late lunch, arriving about 1250. We were the only customers at the time. This restaurant has self seating. We sat down and the waitress appeared with in a couple minutes. She said she would be right back to take our order. After about 10 minutes I tracked her down and said we were ready to... More
