Wonderful tortillas - tasty, soft and didn't disintegrate while we were eating them. Has el pastor, carnita and barbacoa mexican style tacos. All were very tasty. 3 was very filling for lunch - most folks could make due with 2 of them. Salsa are homemade and quite good. Huge hot sauce collection. would eat here again!

We were passing thru on our way back from Mammoth and we stopped in for breakfast. El Ranchito is right in the heart of Bishop. Mariya, the owner, served us and was delightful. Her daughters work there as well. It is a very family friendly environment! We sat at the bar and chatted with them. The menu was extensive. Both... More

We chose El Ranchito as we love Mexican food but where quite late for dinner and the restaurant was still open. The staff was friendly, the food overall o.k. , typical American-Mexican. The burritos where smothered in lots of sauce, the portions very big.

After trying to get into one of the trendier restaurants for breakfast, we settled on this little joint. It looks more like a bar, than a restaurant and was virtually empty at 9 AM, except for one guy at the bar sipping his morning beer. But we were greeted by a very friendly man. We were served very quickly and... More

No frills Mexican restaurant. Family orientated with a great service from the waitress. There wasn't too much veggie choice but we managed to sort something out.

After a long day out hiking, we were too tired to go back to camp and make dinner. By chance, we landed at El Ranchito and it was the best dinner of our whole vacation. The California Burrito was the best inland version of this beach favorite I've tasted. The fish tacos were made with tilapia and perfectly seasoned. Ask... More

I was in the mood for Mexican food. Amigos and El Ranchito are right next to one another. They seemed similar to me. Not sure why I chose El Ranchito, but the service and the food were excellent.
