Our parents discovered this several years ago and is now a favorite stop. Excellent service each visit and great food.

I've had my share of Asian food and this place ranks among the best for flavor and freshness. Their "walnut shrimp" is one of the tastiest things I've ever eaten...no exaggeration! Don't miss this place!

Imperial Gourmet has been in Bishop since the early 1980's, at one point being the only store in an otherwise empty mall. When I visited Bishop I used to wonder how they stayed in business. I was finally able to try them out and now I know-the food is wonderful and the service is very special, like you are an... More

This restaurant served standard Chinese food in a nice atmosphere. We had Kung Pao Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Both were well prepared and tasted good. Their food was much better than you usually get in a small-town Chinese restaurant. I ordered jasmine tea and was served black tea. Service was pretty good.

What more can I say? The food is delicious. The portions are just enough so you don't feel overly full. The service is on point. This is one of a handful of places we eat when we come into town.

We had a very pleasant and authentic Chinese dinner here, having been recommended by our B&B hosts. We have lived in China and eaten Chinese food in a range of other countries across the world, and in our view this is as authentic as you're ever going to find in the USA outside the major Chinatowns. A couple of other... More

This place was recommended to me by the locals. The decor is somewhat of your typical Chinese restaurant, but not overdone. They have plenty of room inside for seating. Service was good and polite. The menu is reasonably extensive, especially given the location of the restaurant. I ordered Chinese ribs, their special shrimp dish, in a red sauce. This is... More

The food is good here. War won ton soup is good on a cold day. It is not priced too expensive. They have a full bar inside We usually end up with left overs.

I eat here every time I'm in town. That's once a year for 30 years. Always good, always clean, always nice employees. Even moving across the street had no effect. It's also usually busy. I have never had a bad or even mediocre meal. I wish it wasn't 6 hours away.
