We had a nice lunch, served by friendly staff who show an interest in whether you enjoyed your meal or not.

Called in here after a busy day, the our effect end to the day. A great meal, served by friendly staff who were very engaging and personable. Met a few of the local village regulars and ended up spending far longer than planned at the restaurant getting to know those we met. A great night, hope to be back one... More

We had a meal here the night before my daughter's wedding as we were staying at the manor. Most of us had the home made pie which was delicious.the service was good and excellent value for money.

Called in on Sunday to try their locally advertised 'steak', but found out they are only served on Monday's. So while there we decided to have a spot of lunch. Firstly for those wanting to visit Findon Village, let me say that it is a very pretty place though at times can be heavy with local traffic! Having said that,... More

Slow, poor customer service. The food was okay, when the omelette came out we had to ask where the accompanying salad was. The waiter said he would go and check and came back with it… ‘sorry, I forgot’

I have only ever visited Findon because there is a shoe shop, Railton Ward, which my wife says has the most comfy, stylish shoes going.... This time, we decided to go on to visit the Findon Manor Hotel for a quick lunch. Lovely setting, an attractive building, well kept gardens, good first impression. We ate at the Snooty Fox bar. A... Four of us ate in the bar on the bank holiday weekend. The menu looked great, what followed was not! I asked for some salad leaves instead of pickles with my goats cheese starter. The waiter informed me the kitchen had no salad. I asked for a bread roll and was advised I'd have to wait 10 minutes. When the... More

A very pleasant place to drop into for quiet conversation and a well served meal or light snack. Particularly recommend the Sussex sausage sandwich which goes down very well with a pint of beer. More extensive meals are also served in the Snooty Fox,but as the tables are rather smll we tend to use it for bar food at lunch... More

We are regulars - mainly for the beer and cappuccino - and drive past three pubs to get there. Staff are excellent and good atmosphere; no booming music and very seldom screaming kids. Every time we have eaten, it has been excellent. On this visit, their wonderful duck was nowhere to be seen, so ordered scampi and chips. How can... More
