I thoroughly enjoyed CUT. The atmosphere was modern and lively, without being raucous. My vegetable salad, filet and dessert were wonderful, although my husband thought his ribeye was overcooked and tough. (This is the only reason I didn't give the restaurant five stars.) We really liked our waiter, who had a good sense of humor. Service was excellent, and this... More

Never had a problem with this place except one time. My wife's food came in rare instead of medium. They took it back and cooked it again. By the time they returned it, I was done with my food and hers just didn't feel right. I called the restaurant the next day just to mention this issue. The manager called... More

A few years ago we ate dinner at CUT in Las Vegas. The food was great but the service was terrible. We have never returned because of the horrible service. We decided to give CUT a try in Beverly Hills. We had a totally different experience here because of GRANT and KEVIN. They were both extremely accommodating to our group... More

Cut, which is located in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, is no less than what one would expect for fine dining at this venerable location. The cocktail lounge was very comfortable, and the drinks were excellent. The restaurant was comfortable, as well, and it filled up by the 7:00pm hour. It is expensive, but that's what one should assume in Beverly... More

We were taken to dinner by a friend to CUT and was met by the staff at the door - we had a booking at 6.30pm and when we arrived the restaurant was empty but we were asked to wait as they had to get our table ready! The restaurant was empty! Go figure that out! Our waiter was good... More

Fame does not equal greatness. The steaks here a good but not the best and not worth the price. I know Wolfgang Puck pays HUGE royalties rent in the Beverly Wiltshire and has a well deserved rep but I have eaten here many times and am not impressed for the price. You cannot even eat here for less than $100... More

I always heard & read was that this place was fabulous from start to finish. Nothing could be further from the truth. In our case there was 6 of us. I was staying the weekend at the Beverly Wilshire hotel, which by the way is fabulous, visiting with friends that live in the area. I had a suite at the... More

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
