We had an excellent Mother's Day brunch here. Restaurant is very quaint, and you can tell the staff has been there a while...very experienced. Everything we ordered was excellent...there was a special Mother's Day menu, and my corned beef hash and eggs was very well done. My wife ordered off the regular menu and had chicken piccata. Would go back... More

We've dined here for men's night for over 20 years. The Grill has quality steaks and excellent seafood. It's a Beverly Hills institution and has been providing great service and quality food for decades. Never a bad experience. Cheers!

My wife and I went for lunch on Sunday. Expected to see a larger crowd and thought it peculiar. We sat outside, which is open seating. Our Waiter was very good but clearly over-worked! The Management should have provided support and helped him keep up with the work. ( counted 8 tables he was working). Food was mixed: for our... More

I was traveling alone on business and went in for dinner on a weekday. I was seated without problem and given a drink menu. I waited about 10 minutes and someone finally came over to see if I was ready to order a drink - I did, and then another brought me the wrong drink. I had to ask for... More

Each year when celebrate my wife’s birthday, we are normally travelling. In the past we have celebrated it at Delmonico’s in NYC; Le Train Bleu in La Gare de Lyon in Paris; Boa Steak House in LA and Viva Voce in Rome. Our choice this year was Grill on the Alley, just off Rodeo Drive. It was a great choice.... More

This is a totally old school classic in the heart of Beverly Hills. The excellent food is only outdone by the superb service and attention to detail. If you are in or near Beverly Hills, do yourself a favor and check this place out! I highly recommend the crab cakes, New York Steak with peppercorn sauce and the insane brownie... More

Has the look and feel of a classic steak grill. Attentive, and experienced wait staff. Three of us had an early dinner.....one sea bass, one shrimp appetizer/ Dover sole, one tuna appetizer......3 cocktails. Fish was fresh and well prepared.shrimp were large and excellent. Cheese bread is worth ordering for the table. Sides of spinach and broccoli were good for sharing.... More

A Beverly Hills classic. Enjoyable, traditional and with a very good ol fashioned service. The Grill is usually very crowded and a bit noisy. Meats, shrimps, wild salmon and salads are very good and tasty . Deserts also are quite good.

Four years ago I ate dinner here with cousins. It's one of their favourite restaurants and an easy walk from where they live. We had a lovely meal. Tonight's meal was even better. I had the salad special followed by wild salmon, asparagus, sugar snap peas, and broccoli. Yum yum yum. The others had steak, chicken prawns and all enjoyed... More

Had dinner here the whole family. Nothing exceptional comparing to other high-end steak houses in the US, but all in all very good. Excellent wine recommendations and very good service. However it is expensive - not sure it is worth the money you pay.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
