We were welcomed in as we read the menu off the street, the staff were genuinely attentive, if not slightly too eager, the decor was fresh and clean. Food wise, a good selection, that was presented and served effortlessly. The miso was scrumptious, our selection of rolls (Californian, Crab, and Salmon) were quickly devoured by two hungry little ones. Lovely... More

Can't complain. And it was ok. But I've had some pretty sensational Japanese and this place was only average. On the plus side the food was nice and the service was good with food coming out nice and quick. Which was good when you are hungry from (window) shopping rodeo drive.

Whilst shopping in Beverly Hills we stumbled on this little chestnut and enjoyed some of the best Japanese we have had for a while . Very nice staff that went out of there way to look after us and very affordable prices. we came back the next day for lunch again and will look forward to going again some day... More

That is really what I would use to describe it. Everything was average, nothing blew me away. Maybe we ordered tame or something. Plus it was that busy, kinda dead for a Saturday night. Should have taken a chance at some of the other places that didn't offer reservations.

Literally arrived here at 2 mins to 3 for a late lunch. Sign on the door says till 3pm for lunch - I'm sure we are going to be turned away but not the case at all. We were welcomed in and told to take our time ordering. The agedashi tofu was delicious as was the salmon sashimi and lobster... More

I booked a reservation for two at Yojisan after doing a bit of research, as I live in the South Bay and don't make it to Beverly Hills very often. My friend was in town from London and put a special request in for sushi, and the menu online looked extremely promising. We weren't disappointed! We both loved the lychee... More

This lovely sushi bar (offering much more) is under the Drago banner in partnership with chef Yoji. Hence it is the only sushi bar/restaurant I can ever remember offering burrata! They have reasonable prix-fixe lunches. I particularly like the spicy tuna rolls and the hearts of palm salad, plus the blue crab salad ...

This is a very casual but good sushi restaurant just one block from Rodeo Drive. The menu has a lot of great options and the service is excellent.

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
