Food was served hot & cooked to order. Service was very good. Only draw-back was the parking area. Very small & one entrance/exit. Park in lot next to it for some room. Will go back for seconds!

I was in the mood for some BBQ and what better place to go to than a C&P. They offer lunch specials everyday and that's what I ordered. The ribs, chicken, chili beans, and BBQ beans sounded good to me. I first received the chili beans and asked for onions and cheese to be added, oh my was it so... More

We had excellent service, great food and at reasonable prices. Will go back. There is parking in a lot adjacent, across the street, on the street adjacent and behind. When busy there are several exceptional servers. We recommend Silvia, Judy or Brandy. The food is always served hot and don't hesitate to ask for extra butter, sauce, etc. Leaving a... More

This place has been here for years must be one of the oldest BBQ places in the city they serve everything from ribs to steak burgers. We start off with a carafe of red house wine, followed by their deep fried onion flower. Salad always fresh and cold and i love their rare prime rib. Staff seem to be everywhere,... More

We had decided that BBQ was a good idea for dinner and this was the place to go. The restaurant was much bigger then I expected and was done in warm wood panels. The service was good but I did not find the food to be any better then average. On this particular visit they did not live up to... More

Ate at Chris and Pits today. Had never been to this one, but all the others I used to go to have shut down. Was just as good as I remember. The onion rings are a must. Even though they are $7.95 now. Remember 5 years ago they were 4.95. They are more like Onion doughnuts. I had the rib... More

Tiny and cramped for dining in, it smells pretty good when you first walk in. When you've been sitting there for awhile the smell of grease and liquid smoke becomes overwhelming. Had the baby back ribs, which were extremely disappointing. The meat was dry and overcooked, swimming in barbecue sauce. The collard greens a little bitter and salty. I did... More

I started dining at C&P's years ago when they had more places. But today I have rate them as average. There are many better BBQ places around today. Yes things have remained the same thru the years which is good in some ways but feel it has hurt them over time by not stepping up with the times. There is... More

I use to go here with my parents after bowling on Thursday nights, with the Elks bowling team, and that was 40 years ago. i got married and my husband and i bowled with my parents for another couple years and went here after bowling.
