Poor service. Grumpy workers. Screwed up an order and didn't apologize or try to "make it right." Incredibly expensive for what you get. Food was ok. Location not convenient. SLOW getting our food.

I used Trip Advisor reviews on my last road trip during spring break in southern California. This was another place I knew I had to visit. I was driving from Big Bear Lake in the mountains to the Mojave Preserve. Baker would be my stop for the night and I pulled in here to eat after sunset. The place was... More
This is a delightful stopover in Baker, CA. Sign after sign along the road, making you think it was a "come on". However the philly cheese steak was excellent and the fresh strawberry milk shake was fab city! Yes there is a crowd but it seems to move swiftly with plenty of wait people.
We needed to but petrol / gas in the car so stopped here to fill ourselves and the car up. The food and drinks were fantastic, but what let this place down was the service. Painfully slow which was a shame
Some friends were traveling up I15 to Las Vegas and Baker was a perfect meeting place. I remember seeing the Mad Greek so it was settled as the place to meet. Clean restrooms and quick meals. We all enjoyed beef Gyros. Excellent. Take a break driving and enjoy some good food at the Mad Greek
It's Sad that it took over 30 minutes to get our Gyros. The order was for eat in and they came out for take out! None of the boxes were marked to show if they were beef or lamb. The meat was Bad, over cooked and flavor was lacking. We wereHad because we had been told it was great... maybe... More
We enjoy stopping at the Mad Greek for either a snack or lunch on the way to Las Vegas. Today, the two of us shared a chicken kebab lunch plus a side salad. Since we don't drink soda anymore, the bill was less than $20. There were 4 pieces of chicken on the kebab accompanied by rice & 3 pitas.... More
Needed to stop for a coffee and couldn't believe it when I saw this over-the-top sight. Couldn't resist the baclava which was a great reminder of holidays in far away Greece. Loved the atmosphere. Can't say anything about the rest of the food on offer but for me well worth the stop.
