We called in to Nafplio after a long drive to The temple of Zeus at Nemea and were looking out for this place as it had been recommended to us. We found it easily enough in the absolutely charming old town. We were given a really warm welcome and chose to eat inside as it was raining like a soggy... More

This is an OK place for Greek food....but don't expect any fantasy or taste. During rush hour the service is very slow so plan ahead in case you are hungry!

I loved this place so much and I wish there was one in America. It is so very delicious, their baked eggplant is absolutely delicious and I recommend it. This is a very good Greek restaurant and the staff are very friendly and attentive. It is the best Greek restaurant I have ever been to.

Ate here twice, once inside (cozy) and once outside (charming, with lots of cats). First night I was marched into the kitchen and shown every cooked dish available, sitting in huge pans (I LOVED that!). Everything we tried was delicious, but can especially recommend the rabbit stifado and the fried small fish (picarels/marithes). Prices were very reasonable.

I came here because of the full vegetarian section of their menu. I had baked eggplant and spanakopita, and both were good. The bread was delicious and the house wine was excellent. The owner spoke English and German while I was there, but I suspect he knows other languages too. :) I didn't mark down for this, but the young... More

We visited first this place in summer for few times and came back again on our winter trip. even though the place in on the buisy tourist street, there is always a place to accomodate all the visitors. Food is traditional, simple but of good quality. First we were recomended to try sea food and it was perfect. We got... More

The food is below average even the fried fries! The staff is very friendly but the overall experience is not nice. The atmosphere is again below average. There are places much better to choose

I had a late lunch here while touring the area. They were open at 3 pm when we were ready to eat. We started with Greek salads, which were good. I had a whole fish that was fresh and well prepared. They had a good Greek red wine by the bottle that was well priced. Overall it was what we... More

We arrived by chance in this small taverna walking the streets of downtown. We ordered a vegetarian dinner with Gemistà (a tomato and a pepper stuffed with rice and baked), a salad, gigantes beans and excellent fresh fries. Rosé wine on tap to forget. Taverna pretty touristy, but overall not excessively. positive experience, with a fast and friendly service staff... More
