First visit. Very friendly host. Best pizza I've had for ages. My wife enjoyed the 'choice of the week' pasta dish.

As someone with no germanic background, there's only so much sausage and potatoes you can eat on a short period of time. It was delightful to find this truly and deliciously Italian treat in Tyrolean Seefeld. A friendly and romantic atmosphere completes the experience. Highly recommended.

As the nearest restaurant to our apartment, we thought we'd give it a try. There were four adults, a very hungry five year old and a nine year old in our party. Firstly, there was no children's menu, almost unknown in child loving Tyrol. We waited an age for the drinks, worked out what the children would eat and ordered... More

Had been 8 years ago since I've been to Il Sole. Nice to see that in all these years, it hasn't changed a bit. The food is great! We had bruchetta as a starter and two pizza's as main dish which were perfect! The owner, hard working man, is passionate about his job, the food and had a lot interest... More

If you seek the instant gratification of the permanently connected world then go to McDonalds and it's all over in 15 minutes. If you want food cooked from scratch with fresh ingredients then I highly recommend this restaurant, sure it takes time but reconnect with the art of conversation and drink a little wine while you wait.

We have been here a few times before and quite liked it but this was ridiculous. The wait was one and a half hours and my food was not what I ordered so I said don't bother (imagine what the wait would have been!). My wife meanwhile had neither chicken nor broccoli in her chicken and broccoli pasta. When I... More

This was a very reasonably priced restaurant, and the food was very good. However do not go here if you are in a rush, as the service is a little bit slow. However in saying this we found out the owner does most things himself from waiting the tables to cooking. This is why you have to wait a bit.... More

We enjoyed our meal so much we asked the owner/chef to cook us a suprise fish meal a couple of days later . It was fabulous , 3 course meal , carpaccio of salmon , followed by jaques scallops and the main course was a huge fish platter beautifully presented which included tuna ,prawns , monkfish and a local trout... My family of 5, along with another family of 4, ate here tonight after a long day of skiing. We had a reservation but were not informed until we complained at the end of the meal that they had two new empolyees. We waited 2 hrs. for our food to arrive and when it did, it came it bits and... More

Surrounded by pizza eaters we had a fine meal with wild salmon, risotto, bruschetta and crema d'aglio. Bottle of chianti, perfect - the cook knows how to prepare a decent Italian dish. The surrounding pizza's also looked okay but here it's worth trying the full monty..!
