We visited Al Wadi after a very tiring day in Petra and we were very hungry and tired. The dishes were very tasty and the service was quick and waiters were very attentive. Sabri was a lovely waiter :) will be visiting again next time we visit Petra 😊

This is a good option in Petra. The atmosphere is quite nice ( you'll see that most of the restaurants are very poor), They make good food- we enjoyed lamb and camel kebab, moutabal and the local dish with lamb and rice. They bake the fresh bread and it is certainly making the food even better. We were very hungry and the fresh warm bread with moutabal seemed like ambrosia to us. Even the boys enjoyed, though they don't usually eat aubergines at all!

Well what a great little place, in mid-town. It was so good, we ate there twice. The fresh cooked bread served with every meal is stunning, especially scooping up their hummus. The ambience of the place is cosy and the outlook over the buzzy street scene is most welcoming. Food was really delicious, and that applied to everything we tried, but especially the mixed grill. Service was friendly and quick. This is a top little spot and well worth the walk up if you stay in one of the ‘downhill’ hotels (we did not because we wanted to stay where all the restaurants and night life is in Wadi Musa – i.e. mid-town).

Al-Wadi Restaurant Petra - Wadi Musa Friendly waiters, good food 745237920 Waiters have great personalities, the interior of the restaurant has great character and the food is fairly good. Not a great culinary experience, the meat was somewhat dry and tough, but the bread and rice and the salad added to the rice livened it up a bit. A great place for lunch or dinner, in part due to ambience and location on the square.

After our trip to visit the historical Petra site, several locals recommended this restaurant. We were tired and hungry. We could not have picked a better place. The food was unbelievable, they cook their bread fresh in a wood oven outside, and their service was above expectations. A family owned restaurant; highly recommend it!

Very nice restaurant and it was highly recommended to us by several locals. The food was very good and the service was excellent. The owner kept a very close eye on the customers and almost knew what we wanted or needed before we did. This restaurant had a festive atmosphere. I would say that the value was great. We ate here two nights and the food was great both times, no one had any complaints.

Visited this restaurant with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. They seated us in our own area upstairs and we were served by Mohamed, who went out of his way to make us all feel welcome. He was attentive, entertaining and even took us outside so show us how they make the bread (which is possibly the best bread I have ever tasted). After the meal he took us downstairs for complimentary tea, and then the staff all brought out a cake to celebrate. 10/10 evening. Mohamed is the boy!!

After a long and fulfilling day wandering the archaeological site of Petra it was a splendid treat to dine at Al Wadi Restaurant. All the food - from the usual local fare to the more exotic specialities of the restaurant - was lip-smacking good. To top it off, the warm and hospitable service at the restaurant made are evening all the more enjoyable. I would like to give special mention to Baha Asri for his great recommendations and personal attention to my group.

In Al Wadi everything is perfect, from welcoming and service to the food and a mint lemonade. Very kind and helpful staff will help you to decide what meal to choose and advise you how to eat traditional Jordanian dishes. Special thanks to Sabri for his service!

The food was excellent. The bread is cooked in their outdoor oven is the best we had in Jordan. When we asked to see the oven, the chef cooked another big bread and gave it to our boys. The falafel and manasaf were highlights. The helpful waiter Sabri made it even better. Highly recommended

Great food, great service, our waiter Sabri was very attentive but not in an intrusive way. Good value with large portions. Lots of local meaty and vegan options, tasty fresh juices, complimentary bread, 5 star.

Nice place. Good atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was good, nice selection. Fresh warm bread with your hummus 👌🏻 The veggie options were warm, not hot. But this seems to be the case in all places we ate. The food was cheap too.

Very delicious food and service is 10/10. Table was always cleaned, we were constantly asked if everything was ok or if we needed anything. We had lamb, mousaka (might misspell it), mint tea & herbal tea had humus and bread for starter. Had kanafeh (might misspell :) for dessert ). Our plates were sparkling clean after we were done with food - that delicious it was! Shisha and a heater were ready for us outside while we were finishing our dessert. Service was impeccable. Unlimited thanks for baha asri

We came here two nights in a row and had a fantastic experience both times. The bread is delicious and soft and the hummus was perfectly creamy and the camel kebab a good choice. The staff was quick and attentive. We were served by Sabri Who was quick to notice when we needed anything and very friendly. We can heartily recommend this restaurant.
