When we arrived, we went to order at the desk and asked for 6 cream teas. We paid and then were advised that they had run out of... More

A lovely spot, this has been a tea garden since Victorian times. Generous teapots - fully 3 cups per person 🙂. Reasonably priced too.

Met a friend here for tea, prior to going for a walk along the South Downs Way. Sun was shining and just glorious to sit outside with robins and dunnocks flitting around. We had the traditional cream team with scones and coffee cake. Very generous portions of cake and cream - scones huge!

These tea rooms are a popular destination during the summer months. The service may be a bit slow but this is due to the popularity of this quaint Victorian open-air tea garden. Everything served is made from scratch on the premises. The scones and cakes are to die for. In this life, if you want perfection you may have to wait... More
