We were recommended to try this place out of we liked cajun, seafood, and especially crawfish. That checked all 3 boxes in my co-worker's and my lists. So we ventured slightly out of our way on our return trip to grab a good meal for lunch before hitting the road. Easy to find, half store, half restaurant, and DELICIOUS food.... More

If you love seafood, then this is the place for you! I had shrimp four ways: fried, boiled, grilled, & spicy! It was all delicious! Along with the shrimp I had red baby potatoes & corn on the cob. I even bought some of their special seasoning to take home.

Had lunch here. Very unassuming atmosphere evident by the metal building. The fried shrimp were delicious but the gumbo was not. Not sure they know what rue is. Perhaps Campbell Soup makes a gumbo and that's what they served. Really less of a restaurant and more of a place to buy live crawfish and frozen shrimp. So if you're planning... More

This is the first time my husband and I have tried this place and it won't be the last. We are always trying new places to eat. Plus my husband loves crawfish and it is sometimes hard to find. Researched on the internet found this place. It may not look like much from the outside but the food is great.... More

A good friend who's a regular suggested we go to his favorite local restaurant. He asked if my brother and I liked fresh crawfish. It was a real treat. The boudin was fabulous! We all enjoyed our food and plan to bring our wives when we are back in the area. If you want to patronize a real family owned... More

We went on a busy Saturday night, 5 couples, luckly we had reservations because there were probably 50 people waiting, which was a good sign. We had the boudan, alligator, and the hot and spicy shrimp. The shrimp and boudan were some of the best we have ever eaten. After the apps and buckets of beer the crawfish came! Crawfish... More

We rented a table in the back room for a baby shower and since it's early in the season everyone ordered crawfish. It's almost impossible to cook crawfish for a large group of people and not have someone complain about how they can cook it better. But everyone in our group was extremely happy. The staff was awesome also. The... More

On our way back to NM from KY we were looking for something to eat and saw this place while driving by. Did a U-turn and came back. It was a Friday night and the parking lot was crowded. We had a 15 minute wait for a table so we had a really good look at the menu and items... More

What a totally unique place....(yes they have catfish) with the Alligator, boudin, atmosphere.....this place is totally unique. It is the not the easiest place to navigate the first visit but the setting is worth the visit and the wait. Seating only for about 80 so expect a wait. They operate Jan -June.

This was the 2nd time I had eaten at this place and they sure know how to do a good Cajun boil. It isn't cheap, but having that much seafood isn't going to be cheap anywhere. The service was great, too. The only reason I gave the place 4 instead of a 5 was that it is tiny. I think... More
