If you like a casual, fun, non-fast food experience this place is for you. The atmosphere is totally "down home" and comfortable. The owner and staff were very friendly, the pizza was delicious (also came back for BBQ sandwiches - they were great as well), serve yourself soda and ice tea available to refill as much as you'd like. A... More

I had to eat the pizza with a fork after we got it back to our campsite to eat fireside. The toppings were delicious, but the crust was too soggy for my taste. It's also a bit pricey. Almost $30 for a large pizza.

Had 4 of the 16 inch pizzas for 14 of the family our last night in Mountain View which was far too much food even for these hungry men and boys. One cousin said, "ok guys, here's breakfast bars for in the morning". We thoroughly enjoyed this little rustic place.

I am so glad I took a chance on this place. Based on some of the reviews I was picturing a dismal place with rude servers and management. Dirty atmosphere and awful food. Instead we found a family owned restaurant. Yes the owner has a beard but I don't think that makes him a hippie. The place is clean. The... More

We were in Mountain View and saw Tommy's Famous so we thought we would give it a try. We are not sure what makes it "Famous" but it was just another Hamburger place to us.

Our party of 9 arrived right at closing & the owner allowed us to order dinner anyway. The service excellent...so welcoming & friendly. Our food was delicious. Fantastic ribs, calzones, & pizza. I had the bbq pizza which was great.

Don't even THINK about going somewhere else. This neighborhood hippie joint is delicious! We enjoyed sitting outside and then walking through the graveyard next door. We will be back -- for more homemade pizza!!

Even people that think they don't like pizza have to try Tommy's famous. I can honestly say, I have only tasted comparable pizza in Chicago. So if you're anywhere this 600 miles south of Chicago, make sure you stop by Tommy's. The calzone is also incredible
