Come and try our fresh seafood, delicious lobster and the best mojitos from our bar. You can enjoy your meal inside in our airconditioned restaurants or on our cosy terrass. Come and let us give you a 5 star experience! We are aware of the situation we are experiencing with respect to Covid-19. We were a party of 7 celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. When we entered we thought it was small but we spot the back room that can seat 16 persons so we asked if we could have that table and they said yes. Richy was our server he was AWESOME. Tentative, full of positive energy and most of all helpful!
Ambiance was magnificent small, intimate and clean
The food was a lot they did not hold back on servings at all. It was great money spent and my boyfriend felt like a King at the end of dinner.

Came here from our all inclusive resort based on trip advisor reviews. Service was awesome, lobster and the bar were amazing. I saw some reviews about cost but this is less than you pay in the USA for good lobster without being nearly as good. Donald was incredible and I hope he got to keep the entire tip we left him. Would definitely return and definitely recommend to other Americans this is perfectly safe and completely delicious. Be sure you come out of your all inclusive cocoon and support the local community! Everyone is so gracious and beyond lovely.

It was a very cool experience, the environment is a quiet place, it transmits peace, an atmosphere with a lot of vibes. The food is Super good, I 100% recommend the Thermidor lobster, the service is incredible, I was served by a girl who is super friendly, super nice, she is very helpful and always attentive to what you need, her name is Ruth, very nice. ♥️

We were very disappointed in this place, sadly. We had high expectations based upon the number of fantastic reviews, but whether we just ended up going there on a bad day or maybe the fact that they were making good money from a large group of like 30+ people meant they just didnt care for just the two of us. Service was poor and food was worse. First off, they only had what they claimed was a 5 pound lobster for a price of 138 USD which is outrageous and honestly the lobster did not look bigger than the 2 pound one we got at our hotel the day before but either way we decided to go for the risottos instead. One, the prawn one was decent, and the other (seafood) was just filled beyond enjoyment with overpowering cheese. It seemed maybe the chef put double cheese in one risotto and forgot the other as the other had none in atall. Anyways taste is personal I get that but we didn't really enjoy the food and the prices were way too high for quality, portion size and in comparison to even London so..... I would not recommend.

Herman311 is a ‘must experience!’ Discreetly situated in a charming cafe courtyard. Paired with wine boutique and cigar lounge in Bábaro, Punta Cana.
I was not expecting a dining experience that I would classify as ‘Unforgettable’.
In my travels to many parts of the world, I have been blessed with eating /experiencing fantastic foods from Michelin Star restaurants to family owned eateries boasting heritage dishes from long ago.
The level of excellence I experienced dining at Herman311 put this little secret at the top of my culinary experiences.
Mango shrimp Ceviche was so perfectly balanced between refreshing and sweet, fantastic!!
Pineapple ceviche was equally spectacular.
Sautéed shrimp, lightly braised with garlic, the best I have ever experienced.
Octopus tender with a crunchy oily textured Cajun braise. Wow! Baked lobster topped with a passion-fruit cream sauce was served open-platter, fit for a king.
Herman311 is by far the most outstanding restaurant I have experienced in several years.
Service was impeccable. Meeting the owners who were there to make sure each dish was perfect for us, completed our experience.

I am gonna call this intimate gathering spot a ‘Wine Boutique’
With hundreds of international and domestic wines to choose from the owner was able to guide and recommend 3 perfect combinations for us. Sitting on a beautiful locally crafted bench and table outside, we were able to open one bottle there and pair it with an appetizer or two from the sea food restaurant next door. Fantastic wine selection, prices were reasonable and the atmosphere and flavors were nurturing. We will stop by everytime we visit.

Whilst on holiday over the Christmas period to Dominican Republic with my family, we decided to ask hotel concierge for a recommendation for a good fish restaurant. Being Christmas day evening we weren't sure if anywhere was open! Taxi man took us to above, free of charge as he has dealings with this restaurant and works there. Menu looked fab and very pleasant people serving. We had breaded shrimp and fish burgers?? to start with. My husband and my son were anxious to have lobster so ordered two with fries and side vegetables. We got back to hotel and that night my husband was violently ill and missed a trip we had booked for the following day. My son and I went but on returning home my son started feeling ill and was violently ill for two days. Rather spoilt the end of our holiday as well as the bill coming to £192!!!

Initially found this place on instagram. The atmosphere looked really lovely so I decided to have dinner. The food was good and the atmosphere was indeed as it looked on socials! The music was nice and not extremely loud like in other places. The waiters were lovely. I was served by Ansel who was very professional and friendly. I observed him and saw him being very attentive with other guests. A waitress named Ruth was also very kind and knowledgeable about the dishes she was serving.

We had Richy for a waiter and he was fantastic! Food came out at a good time, they give you bread to start off with a delicious garlic sauce. Very good service, dj playing music and great food.

I was referred to Herman's for Lobster by another local restaurant owner, and it was absolutely perfect! Our server, Ansol, was very kind and gave us a preview of our Lobsters while describing the taste and flavors we should expect. The food was delicious, and the service and atmosphere were top notch as well 👌🏾 😃 I highly recommend!

Don't understand how this place has good reviews
Every single meal there was a problem with
- The steak was well done when medium was ordered
- The risottos were overcooked, soggy and tastless
- The seafood paella lacked seafood and again was overcooked and soggy
The risottos and seafood were clearly just reheated and weren't cooked fresh.
It was our most expensive meal yet, but we would've been happy to pay if the portions were big and it was good food, but it was not.
Drinks and service were okay.
DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

Ruth makes the best pina colada and Ansel gave me the best service. They were both very attentive to my needs and the chicken breast I ate was perfectly done as well as the vegetables. I will definitely return.

This place was just a short walk from our Airbnb and we finally decided to give it a try after seeing how cute it looked all lit up at night. We had such a wonderful experience during our first visit on a Wednesday night that we decided to return a second time later in the week. They offer live music every Wednesday which is a great addition to the already incredible atmosphere, food, and service. If you enjoy live music definitely go on Wednesday! The attention to detail at Herman311 doesn't go unnoticed. They provide top-notch service, food, wine pairings, cocktails, and fresh juices, and the tostones are the best in the city! The owner and staff are also wonderful, warm, and welcoming people. An all-around great experience and highly recommend checking it out.

On the day I turned 40 I was in the mood for Lobster so my girlfriend and I checked out my favorite Lobster place in Punta Cana. Upon arrival I was greeted by Roodensky, who was very welcoming. He brought out a nice 4lb and 5lb set of lobsters and told us that lobster was the speacialty at this place. We ordered the smalller of the two along with a pinapple ceviche and a Protos Verdejo wine.
The ceviche came out first and it was delicious, I asked Roodensky if the could make it spicy and it had some jalapeños that gave the lime, fish, pineapple an extra zing. It was the best ceviche I’ve had in Punta Cana. For the main dish we had the lobster al ajillo and it was amazing it was not dry and the butter garlic sauce was to die for. The wine paired well with both dishes. Since it was my birthday we splurged on desert and we had the coconut flan and the brownie. Both were delicious but I preferred the flan. We had an amazing evening I really appreciate Roodensky for bringing out my flan with a candle since he heard it was my birthday. I highly recommend this place for lobster and a great time.

We came here for a lobster dinner, suggested to us by guest services at our hotel. The food was good overall, the lobster was tasty; however this spot is very shady because we paid astronomical high prices for a bottle of wine and appetizers. Be aware Caribbean lobsters don’t have claws and the restaurant charges you for the whole lobster $27/pound US. We ordered a 4 pound lobster, but only the edible part of the lobster is the tail.
Our server Ricky was a fantastic server and very attentive. His smile and personality were very welcoming! Overall, we would not go back.

I took my mom to Herman 311 for dinner as we wanted to have a night off the resort. We got to the restaurant and were excited about the ambiance. We ended up with Ricky as our waiter and the night took a turn for the worse. My mom own a seafood restaurant in Jamaica (Prendy’s on The Beach) we opted for the fried fish and lobster. We asked to see a 2 pound fish and Richy brought out a tiny fish which with years of owning a seafood restaurant under her belt, my mom quickly indicated was actually less than a pound. We asked to see the weight of the fish and we were informed that the scale was not working….how then do they know the weight. We were presented with 2 lobsters both looking exactly the same but informed that one was 4 pound and the other 6 pounds….again, how do they know this if the scale is “not working” we were pretty saddened by the experience but refused to be scammed….
