Sunday roast. Horrible. The service was slow and the beef was like shoe leather and the veg tasted off. Just horrible. Don’t do it. £16 for roast beef which was inedible. Overcooked, no flavour and you couldn’t even cut through the gristle. Avoid at all...More

Friendly staff, lovely menu and cosy feel with roaring fire. Locals were very welcoming to us also. Even though it's not far from brighton you feel a million miles away from city life

I take it it’s been taken over... we used to go few years ago when it was amazing food... now it seams a chain pub with Wetherspoons type food! Ugh so disappointing. Such a shame!!

One of my favourite country pubs Summer or winter. Food is good. Even named my daughter Summer after the house across the way. The BBQ in the garden used to be better.
