love everything about this coffee shop! all of there food is so fresh and delicious! they make there own coffee and chocolate as well as serve fresh fruits in smoothies and fruit bowls. Pro tip, the chocolate brownie is a must have.

My family really enjoyed visiting Cabarete Coffee House everyday for three weeks!! The kids loved the smoothies and I had my cup of freshly brewed coffee each day. The staff was super friendly. Sometimes we would call ahead to place our order and it would always be ready. Can’t wait to go back!

Cabarete Coffee Company is a great spot to get lunch and/or coffee and tea! It's connection to the Mariposa Foundation invests in the future of Cabarete and girls' education in the Dominican Republic. A must-visit for tourists and locals alike in Cabarete!

I came here a couple mornings for coffee and once for breakfast, while I was staying at Viva Tangerine.
I got the breakfast burrito.. it was a bit "sloppy" leaking sauce/juices all over... but it was good. Coffee was fine but not over the top good ' I feel I had a bit better elsewhere... but it's good proximity to the resort... the walk of the road getting there, although short, is a bit nerve racking.. I may still return.

I tried a few breakfast options. The Surfer Supreme with the freshest fruit, yogurt, home made granola, drizzled with Honey and Cacao. I could never duplicate this meal in the states! YUM! I also tried Peanut Butter Toast. The peanut butter is made onsite and it comes with sliced bananas, chia seeds and cacao with local honey on top. I tried to duplicate this at home but it didn't come close! The staff is super friendly and was nice to know I was contributing to a cause. The Mariposa Foundation supports young Dominican girls and their center is also amazing. Thanks for the work you are doing!

Not only do we enjoy the delicious, healthy food at the Cabarete Coffee Company, we also admire the work the Mariposa DR Foundation does in the community. The investment in girls will yield long term results in their lives. Keep up the awesome work!!

This place is amazing! They have gluten free options! They use all the money they earn to help local girls in the community. The workers are all so helpful. The gluten free protein waffles are absolutely amazing!!! I have been here 3 times and all times have been a spectacular experience

Each year, I visit Cabarete, and always start each day with my beloved Cabarete Coffee. I know that sounds like a corny commercial but it’s 100% true! This past week, I also enjoyed their super fresh crescents ( plain and chocolate), their toasted bagels with egg and cheese and perfectly cooked crispy bacon, and their tuna and cheese sandwiches (my favorite this year). The portions here are huge (especially the delicious grilled cheese we had for lunch with 3 different cheeses)...easy to share. I’m reviewing again because the restaurant has been remodeled and enlarged and, not that it needed it, up dated, and it’s just such a beautiful, clean and welcoming place. The staff is friendly and eager to please, and the prices are reasonable. I’m happy to spend there as I know my money is going to the Mariposa Foundation DR, which is a phenomenal local charity which educates local girls. My only regret is that I didn’t leave with more coffee for home. Stock up while you’re there!

We’ve been coming to DR for many years. We always go to Cab Coffee! We hold onto our frequent buyer cards lol and bring them back every time. Not only do 100% of profits go to Mariposa Foundation ( not for profit focus on educating girls) their lattes are yummy! Almost always the foam has a heart swirl ❤️
Their breakfasts and pastries are really good. I love to sit on their front porch and watch DR life while enjoying my latte.

We stayed for 2 weeks on Kite Beach and this place was my oasis in the middle of a coffee desert. Most restaurants serve instant coffee, so Cabarete Coffee Company is a destination worth seeking. I tried a number of items on the menu for breakfast, which were all delicious, but it was the coffee that kept me coming back. I also love the work they do through the Mariposa Foundation. I spent a pretty penny buying reusable bags made from discarded kite sails. Other shops sell these bags, too, on behalf of the Foundation and the prices are consistent. I wanted to buy some coffee beans, but the cost was a little too high for my Canadian wallet. (As with most shops on this island, everything is priced in pesos and US dollars.)

On my school trip, we went to Cabarete Coffee every day. They have the best Lattes and chocolate croissants!! The staff was so friendly and all the profits went to the Mariposa foundation which supports girls' empowerment. I cant wait to visit again!!

The atmosphere was amazing, all of the workers were so kind, inviting, and understanding. Highly recommend the Sea Turtle and the cold brew coffee!! The whole menu looked delicious, if you’re in the area you must visit!!

Top of my list for delicious food, friendly service and good value is Cabarete Coffee Company. The menu is full of mouth-watering choices; there's something for every appetite. My husband and I were overwhelmed by the portion size of the fresh fruit bowl: we took half of it back to our hotel! The selection of local merchandise included something for everyone on my gift list: from tee shirts and chocolate to up-cycled bags and back packs made from sails to colorful bi-lingual books for children and readers of all ages. I love the fact that this cafe is run by a local nonprofit organization, The Mariposa DR Foundation. Their programs have a great record of educating and empowering local girls. Thank you, Tony, for your warm welcome!

Great food ,great service and for a great cause. The girl's school. But pay in pesos my friends. The "gringo" conversion to American $$ is extreme. Got nixed for $10 u.s . Next visit I would have got nixed for $5.50 u.s. Peso only.

I'm a tad biased because I had visited their sister organization, the Mariposa DR Foundation for girls a few years back and simply fell in love with them and their mission. BUT this coffee shop stands on its own. Really creative menu with uber-healthy options, not to mention some killer coffee. Great place to hang "Starbucks" style and get some work done but WAY cooler than a Starbucks. The profits supporting the Mariposa DR Foundation and educating, training and mentoring young, local girls is a bonus.
