Good ambiance overall with wide selection of Filipino, Spanish, Thai and a little bit of American cuisine but food is expensive with small serving and taste is just ordinary. We just want to highlight how attentive, courteous and friendly their waiters are. And we were...deceived by the bottled waters in the table haha! I thought that this is their service water given the pandemic but i was wrong. Always ask if unsureMore

We were supposed to go to another restaurant in the area, but we couldn't find it and we ended up in this restaurant. I really didn't mind discovering and trying out new places, especially one like Voi La, which has a beautiful ambiance and a...good selection of food. As we stepped into this restaurant I was immediately impressed with its decors, furniture, colorful lanterns, and so forth. Not bad at all, I said to myself. Then I skimmed over its menu. It had a good selection of Italian, Spanish, Thai and Filipino dishes. My expectations were really high, considering that they were quite expensive. It's fine, I said, since you pay not only for the food, but for the ambiance, too. Well, the foods didn't disappoint, except that I found the servings rather small. Everything would have been forgiveable, but then our dining experience was dampened by a couple of things. First, service was too slow. Second, the waiters were not as accommodating as they should be. They were nowhere to be found near our table and I had to rise many times just to look for them and call their attention. I asked for an extra fork and I had to ask for it thrice before they brought me one. The same thing happened when I asked again for the menu. The waiter serving us also took forever to give us the bill when we asked for it. Hayz! In the end, out of our dissatisfaction for such a lousy service, we decided not to leave them any tip. It's a pity that a lovely place with good food would have such a terrible customer service. I don't think I'd be returning to this restaurant any time soon. Besides, they have a perennial problem with their parking lot. =(More

Coffee was good. Food - nothing spectacular. There were a few IG-worthy spots in the restaurant. We were hungry so we decided to dine here instead of waiting in line at the Ruined Project. Went here on a weekday afternoon and there were very few...customers at the time. Service was very slow despite only less than 5 tables occupied.More

we went to cafe viola for lunch on June 13, 2021. We are seated facing their bar counter. While waiting for our food, which takes ages to come, i and my mom-in-law saw a waiter mixing a drink. Then he use a spoon to stir...and have a taste w/ the spoon. He then added sweetener to the glass and use the same spoon to stir again. He do it a couple of times to use the spoon to stir and taste before serving. Ewwwww! How gross!!!! Advice : Don't order drinks. Hygiene please. Management please discipline your waiters, diners might get infected if your staff are sick.More

The resto is ideally located away from the hustle and bustle of Tagaytay and overall ambiance of the place is good. Food is good although the menu is not that extensive and a bit pricey.

We have eaten in this restaurant before and this review was actually our 3rd visit. The past two visits were okay (not spectacular), there was the usual queue but we enjoyed our lunch so we came back for a 3rd. We are from Manila and...Tagaytay has always our family's favorite quick get-away. Our most recent lunch at Cafe Voi La was very disappointing!! We waited too long this time even when we can see there are vacant tables. I was with my family (we are six) including my 77-year old mother and 2-year old grand daughter but that did not make them "rush" the service. The Maitre d' kept telling us the table will be ready soon so we kept waiting. When our table was ready and finally ordered food, it took forever to have our foods served. I thought maybe because the restaurant is busy that's why it took long to cook but two of our orders were already served cold. I knew then that the food were just lying idly at the counter waiting to be served. One of our orders was even mistakenly not taken so I just cancelled it. This restaurant used to be my favorite this part of town but that visit will be our last one.More

The place is pretty, and as many would describe it, is IG-worthy. The food is good, but a little pricey for me. Had a bad experience of ordering dessert, which THEY FORGOT, until we followed up 30 minutes after, and they said the order was...not relayed to the kitchen, and would take another 20 minutes to prepare, so we had to just cancel it. Other than that, service is ok.More

After our visit in Nov 2017 we decided to come back. The place is still has it's nice ambiance. Since it is the Christmas Holiday the decorations are gorgeous. There was a visiting children's choir that made the mood so pleasing. The food is good...and but not equivalent to the quantity and quality of the meal TOURIST PRICING: Spaghetti Bolognese was Php455, Large plain white rice was Php 175 approximately 2 cups. Also the restaurant faced out the carafe cocktails, what a shame!! Overall: Food 4 star Value 3 star Rice Ambiance 4 star Over all 3.5 Star. If you want to pay top money for less value then go ahead. The price has definitely gone up. And we are not returning to this place. PAYMENT ONLY CASH FOR January 2020.More

I had my first ever legit medium rare steak at this restaurant! So far, it's good! But pricey, 3.5k plus 10% service charge, worth 350. Haha. Crew are also very nice and approachable. Will go back again soon and try their much cheaper foods.. would...like to try cheesecake and satays ❤❤ Ambience is also 5/5.More
