On the Sunday after The Buff Rally.Shortage of a number of menu items.Kitchen managed to prepare a meal despite this and also offered complimentary round of drinks. Nice recovery strategy. Well done.

We had to make a quick trip to Mossel Bay from George on Sunday. The weather was not too good so our usual spot that we like to eat at was not an option as it is partially outdoors. We checked on Tripadvisor for an alternative. We stumbled upon Cafe Havana. There were some good reviews posted so we thought... More

We love the atmosphere of Cafe Havana. It reminds us of the places we used to hang out when we still lived in Yeoville and Hillbrow all those years ago. Intimate, interesting and low key. Margaritas are magnificent. Love the tapas style food too.

Having read the recommendation in the Lonely Planet we thought we'd try this place for lunch, however we were not that impressed. The food was average and the service was very slow.

Very nice place. Perfectly situated. Friendly helpful staff. Excellent food at a very good price. Free Wi-Fi which the teenagers can do without. Only a pleasure to visit this place. Good entertainment over holiday periods. Thumbs up to the owners for the live music

Beautiful place! Perfect food. Excellent atmosphere! Best service. Might be better to phone and book for reservation during peak season.

We went there for dinner, we walked in and there was no one to greet us and we were standing around looking for some guidance, eventually a waitress came. We sat inside and i really enjoyed the cuban theme. I liked the music and overall feel of the place. It seemed romantic, good lighting and it had a cigar lounge... More

Shocking how in 3 years this place has deteriorated. Service was good but what came out the kitchen was mind bogglingly terrible. We ordered battered (in more ways than one) prawns and fish cakes. Both were equally singularly appalling. It's as if the kitchen is running on cruise control with no one with an iota of knowledge of cooking running... More
