I ate at Thaijazz Beach Restaurant with a group of friends on Christmas Day. The restaurant is located near many other attractions in Gisenyi and has beach access. The owner has excellent customer service. He greeted us when we arrived and helped us place our orders - he speaks about 7 languages. The food was great, I would highly recommend... More

When you arrive you are greeted by extremely loud Congolese rhumba that might help you pick your seat (away from the speakers). The menu is mostly Rwandan fare and some pizza and a few other things. The Thai section of their menu is tiny, but I thought I would give the Tom Kai sauce with chicken a try anyway. When... More

We ordered a couple of the "Thai" dishes and brochettes - the food was good, the view was spectacular and so was the atmosphere. We'll be going back before we leave Gisenyi

The place is nice to visit, specially for the ambience. Candle lit tables give a nice vibe to your evening. But the food ruins it all. I ordered a pizza, and got one without any tomato sauce but with on,y tomatoes. No oregano and olives as mentioned in the menu. And when I asked them for some oregano, they didn't... More

We came for just a coffee at sunset. The location is perfect for a sunset, or anything along the water. It's right next to Tam-tam which is said to be a good place for drinks, but honestly this place has such a better atmosphere, much more chilled out place. Perfect for a drink along the water.

The food took a very long time to prepare and was unexciting and not very good. One colleague ordered an Asian noodle dish that ended up being basically spaghetti with soy sauce on it. They didn't have the dessert that was on the menu that we were interested in, and were not told that up front as one would normally... More

The food and the service is really average You only come here for the view or the sound of the waves. Everything else is completely forgettable

This restaurant is built right onto the beach, so worth to go there for the location alone. The food is tasty but not exactly authentic thai. I *really* liked their isambaza, a local speciality of fried whole small fish.

ThaiJazz is nicely located in a quiet part of the beach front. You can sit there and watch the yachts en route to Goma, the flights in and out and the small boats taking tourists for a tour. Jamil the owner is really friendly and has lots of stories to tell. Try their special beans. Don't be in a hurry,... More

For 2 days i was there I eat the indiane cuisine and the european and both were great. The food can be enjoyed out in the yard, which is surrounded by bungalow and palm trees and the water is just few steps, that makes the meal enjoyable
