Very good spanish restaurant in Las Mercedes Caracas. Very expensive for the Venezuelans, so it was quite empty. It used ti vmve full until 3 years ago or so. The Mero we had it was super maybe one of the best I have had in Caracas. The staff is good, sometimes, not very well educated. The fush is really good... More

If you like to eat home made food spanish food this is a good option for you! I have no complaints about the food, just about the dessert "Crema Catalana" which was very cold, it should be a little bit warm, everything else was good. Parking is also available, service was good and the food was served on time.

One of my favourite restaurants in Caracas for fish and shells cooked the spaniard (more precisely basque) way. Their squid in black sauce is a must. But anything you try will please you for sure. Price very cheap for foreigners not so cheap for locals.

It is good, very good cuisine but it is old fashion and I think you are not paying for the atmosphere, you are only paying for the high quality food

Nothing to write home about, but nothing particularly bad to complain about either. A familiar restaurant, louder than I would like. As average (for Caracas standards) as you can get.

The secret is consistent delivery of great sea food, the starter Pimientos, Pastel de Mero, the Tortilas, Galician Octopus, Mero Croquettes, etc. the main courses any of the different Meros, the Rices or Season Lobster simply rival any of Navarra's tables. There are two, one in Sabana Grande, the original and the best of the two, and the second in Las Mercedes, which is a far cry from the original. Still, in Sabana Grande, very authentic spanish food, but not as good as La Cita, although it does have its following. Tough Sunday seat, good for lunch but careful at night... More

I have been visiting La Casa Urrutia for at least 20 years. It is my favorite spanish restaurant in Caracas and never miiss the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful arroz a la marinera, pimientos del piquillo, very fresh grouper or shrimp carpacio. Their service is fast and its owner is arround most of the time. Very well located in Las... More
