This was the best coffee I had on Easter Island. They have a proper espresso machine! The cafe also has great brownies and cakes, as well as ice cream. It is possible to sit inside or outside overlooking the harbour, or to get your lunch or snacks between dives (they are very conveniently located right next to Mike Rapu and... More

Mikafe has a good variety of tasty ice creams and serves a decent coffee, pastries and shakes. Located close to the sea, it has both inside and outside tables and is a decent place to enjoy a coffee and an ice cream under the shade of a sun umbrella, while watching the sea and the people passing by.

Good location and it has a toilet for customers use. Like most cafes on Easter island it's a bit pricey for what you get.

Went here for lunch on our last hour before we had to go to the airport. Seemed like a place to get a quick bite and was recommended by Lonely Planet. What a mistake we made, should have went back to Club Sandwich at one quarter the price and much better tasting. This place has a very visible location but... More

A year after my first visit, I of course had to return to Mikafe to try more of their homemade ice cream flavors. I was surprised to see they had given the cafe a makeover, with expanded space and more seating – it looks great and more inviting. My ice cream, though, was served in a very stale cone, and I... The location is wonderful, just in the little harbour, between the diving schools. The place is small, but cute, service is ok. What outstands here are the ice cream flavors: guava, tipanie, cherry with smoked chile, lots of fruits, awesome. They have a very good banana Po'e and other cakes and desserts.

We are tourists on Easter Island, the main income to this little place. We spoke little Spanish but one has got by with sign language where ever we go. The rude staff did not smile once when we ordered 5 (cinco) double ice creams and threw her arms over there to pay on the other side of the counter. A... More

This small cafe was a favourite for morning coffee , while watching activity in and around the harbour. The lattes were excellent, large and hot, and my husband and daughter assured me the cakes were excellent too. Service can be a bit slow,

We visited every day during our 5-day stay, sometimes twice in one day. This is located in the small harbor (not on the main shopping and dining street), and it was convenient for us as we were staying just up the street. The tiny space is cute with its pastel colors, attractive dessert displays, espresso machines - it almost felt... More

Not much choice for dessert but many flavors for ice cream. The ice cream were more like sorbet. Theres a little sitting area outdoor where you could watch people go diving or fishing or jet relax after long walks. Good on a hot day. Portion were not big.
