Out on a changeable day for a walk and found this lovely place for a cozy drink in the snug while the rain blew over. Food looked good too, though we were there just for a drink.

Amazing spot for Sunday lunch after a walk. Rung ahead to reserve a table. Staff were friendly, welcoming and generous on the veg! Great value food which was really tasty and wholesome.

Watched nations rugby on TV a number of times at this pub. Friendly with a nice atmosphere in a very pretty village

A lovely country pub that welcomes all including dogs! Stopped in for dinner in the evening. A very friendly welcome from the owners and the locals. Beer was recommended and tasty. Highlight by far was the food. Lasagne was fresh, homemade and large portion. Sirloin...More

lovely real pub with wood burner and sofas. Only had a drink after walk to summit of the Sugar Loaf but lots of punters enjoying lunch on Boxing day.
