I have been going to this part of Wales every year for at least a decade, and I always make a point of stopping at the Courthouse cafe for lunch every time I go. Simple but delicious home cooked food served in a wonderful venue...More

This venue is friendly, wholesome food prepared and presented nicely, value for money. It has a lift to the upper floor ideal for older and disabled people.

Three of us enjoyed a very good breakfast, this is not a fast food venue, as we had drunk our hot drinks a considerable time before the food arrived.

We had a very tasty and meaty chicken ham and leek pie with delicious pastry, served with a wide selection of fresh salad. The food is all home cooked and is excellent value for money. There's a wide choice of sandwiches, paninis and more, and...More

I think you will find all the cake is homemade and not processed or packaged. In which case it's hard to see where it's sell by date would be! It also normally sells out every day!
