Stopped off on the way home in Crickhowell. Visited Askews Family Bakery they had amazing selection of cakes, bread and pastries. Indulged in a sausage roll, donut and a Viennese slice which were all delicious. Would visit again if ever in the area.

We don't live half near enough this shop for my liking - if we did, we'd shop there most days. The bread is freshly baked on the premises and the battenburg cake is a weekly favourite in our house. Well recommended and lovely service

Amazing selection of reasonably priced cakes and pies with eat in or take-out jacket potatoes at very reasonable prices. However, not good for those of us who cannot resist cakes despite expanding waistlines!
