Food is amazing but the prices for takeaway are the same as eating in, you're expecting to pay about £12 per person for a takeaway which is pretty ridiculous. Normal to find bits of ordered food left out, they are very apologetic but they don't change. Good food, just need to sharpen up and bring those prices down!!

If that is what you are after this restaurant is for you. The Peshwari nan had something sweet and sticky spread in it, which was very unpleasant. My Husband's dish was described as containing fried potatoes, they were boiled. The only dish we ordered either of us enjoyed was the vegetable bhaji. We were seated at the back, which I... More

Great curry here - and really nice, efficient and good humoured staff. The food was authentic and delicious and amazingly, not oversalted - which I find is often the case in curry houses. They did not have a licence when we ate which meant I ate a huge and scrumptious meal with just carbonated water - which is a first... More

King prawn curry had 2 chillis on the menu, but didn't warrant any it was that bland. Only 3 prawns in a bog standard onion sauce. I've had better from a jar. Didn't bother with dessert as all but one were overpriced ice creams.

Group of 10 passing through for the evening. Some unusual dishes very well done. Good service. In between alcohol licences so let us bring wine from the shop next door. As good a curry as you'll find in Manchester

Called in on a Tues evening as in the area to watch the local football team. Small, clean and modern looking restaurant. No alcohol licence at the mo so couldn't enjoy a pint with my food :-( Food was great and service good with a very pleasant bloke serving. £11.20 for prawn curry mushroom pilar rice and half a Diet... This restaurant was a recommended venue by the owner of a B and B we were staying at in the town. The interior is smart and welcoming, there were a small group of people finishing their meal as we arrived. The staff were very attentive and efficient. Our choice of house rosé was very palatable. We chose the special platter... More

We visited this restaurant whilst stopping nearby at the Metrople Hotel. The restaurant is only a short distance away and unlike others in the vicinity are open much later for dinner. Be prepared for the menu,it has an extensive range of dishes and it can be overwhelming. There was four of us and we all really enjoyed our meals and... More

Booked on a busy Saturday night. We were put on a table right by the main entrance with the door left open and basically forgotten about. Needed to remind staff about ordering drinks and where main course was (after waiting half an hour after ordering). Food was very good as always but the service was appalling - staff appeared to...
