This is a terribly overpriced place where for a small frothed milk its 1.95! You dont get a hello or smile, you made to feel totally unwelcome. I'm only glad that the owner's manner was so awful I only paid for a few drinks and...More

Caveat, our visit was with a small party off season, but felt like we were a hinderance, we were certainly not made welcome. Very poor service. Very elcectic, needs a makeover... tardy and tired. On a positive note, food was tastey and good value.

Such a great wee place for a cosy cuppa no matter what you've been up to. The coffee and homemade baking is delicious and such a great atmosphere with stunning views. Lots of great vegan treats to take away as well. The staff really friendly...More

On the Main Street in Gairloch this cozy little coffee shop is attached to a bookstore and has a glass sun porch in the back overlooking the water. Coffees and home made baked goods are both good.

The staff are quirky and friendly with a very eclectic setting, the coffee is decent and the scones really are good (would have been better if we'd been there earlier in the day).

Arrived early afternoon & went for soup and a scone, the soup was fine but the savoury scone was a little on the doughie side for my liking also We found it quite expensive for what we had. Staff not overly friendly but efficient.

Coffee was good however I've never had a scone like it and for £3.50 each overpriced what u got! Only 1 toilet for male and female use. Which really needs to be up graded. Staff need to learn how to smile and welcoming!

This cafe is recommended by Lonely Planet and could be fantastic. The view is good, The food looked good and some tasted good. I ma prompted ot review becase the service was very bad. The women in charge who I believe is the owner was one fo the grumpier people we met on a 5month tour of Europe. She was loudly critical of and to the young man working there, she was unwelcoming and ignored much of what we said to her. The coffee was ok but made with reluctance and an offhand attitude. We felt as if we were intruding in her space and a real nuisance -- at 11 am !!. We had driven out of the way to get to a place which we felt would be special place for a coffee. It was but in all the wrong ways. We are New Zealanders who do not normally complain but this place was worth complaining about.
