Great dog friendly pub. Had a lovely pub lunch with hand cut chips, so nice when the majority use frozen. Staff really friendly. Log burning stove so nice and warm.

Welcoming staff and a warm friendly atmosphere tho not a lot of seating space in the bar. We ate in the restaurant and had a pleasant meal, good pub grub at a fair price. Nice fire there too.

Dropped in on chance it was quite busy , Tuesday lunchtime, seated promptly in pleasant dining area.. Prompt service and a varied menu. Enjoyed the meal and the surroundings, it really is old without being tacky. Will be back for more.

Not sure to be honest. We always park in a local town car park and shop around before going into the Old Whyte Swanne. I'm guessing no.

Description
Ye Olde Whyte Swanne is a good old fashioned traditional English pub and the oldest in Louth! Our comfortable bar is the ideal place to enjoy a selection of cask ales, draught beers/lagers and ciders as well as a range of wines available by the bottle or glass, tea, coffee and soft drinks. We also have a relaxing lounge to the rear of the pub where you can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. All our meals are homemade and locally sourced where possible. We have a wide range of dishes from traditional pub food, Sunday roasts and a Specials Board. You can also enjoy al-fresco drinking and dining in our beer garden The Ye Olde Whyte Swanne is known as being the oldest pub in Louth, established in 1612 and there are rumours that the pub may well be haunted!
