This place is just trying to get going after COVID and has so much potential. We stayed overnight in our van, great location for exploring the area... go help them out so they can make this place great 😊

After being let down by another restaurant, I rang the Prussian Queen at very late notice, to see if they could help me. Wow! not only did they give us our own room for 14 adults and 2 children they couldn't do enough to help....Paul the bar manager was very helpful and incredibly funny. The young waitress (who I have forgotten her name, sorry) was extremely helpful and nothing was a problem for her. If you want a down to earth pub with excellent meals and friendly staff then this is the place for you, a lovely country pub, fantastic meals and staff that make you feel incredibly welcome,. We will be coming back again, that's if they will have us as some of us was a bit loud 😊. Kids welcome, dogs and motorcycles. Thank you for making my grandsons christening so memorable xxxxMore

What the title says. Visited with my daughter last weekend and stayed in their car park. We couldn't have been made more welcome and we'll be back. It deserves to thrive. Thank you.....

Stayed over in our motorhome for a night, Owner very friendly and explained they are about to make the car park at the rear of the pub into purpose built pitches for motorbikes. Good food, good beer and the toilets and shower are available at...all times. Would recommend.More

Having been to The Prussian Queen about 20 years ago I must admit we hadn't intended rushing back. A friend then said they'd just visited and highly recommended the food. Facebook reviews backed this up. So we gave it a go and we're glad we...did. The new owners are welcoming and indeed the food was excellent. The Prussian Queen burger will keep you full for days. A refurbishment programme is ongoing and it is much needed but don't let that put you off. Things are going in the right direction and the owners deserve it to succeed. Will definitely be back and a lot sooner than 20 years!More

We visited to see what was happening to our ‘local’ and found a lovely couple who have only been landlords for 7 weeks. The inside is being completely revamped, especially the toilets. Food is good honest homemade pub grub. My husband was very miffed to...find the chicken curry had all sold! They are sourcing very local suppliers which is different and very tasty. I think we will be using this place a lot more in the future...More
