They were fully booked in the restaurant when we arrived for our hotel booking, so could not accommodate us. However, they sent 2 courses of the 12 course taster menu up to our room for the dog to try. That is so unfair, but I tried a bit of the lamb. Sublime flavour. More importantly, they let us get a... It was so unfortunate that you didn't get a chance to join us for the Tasting menu. However we are glad that you (and the Dog) got a taste of what we do and enjoyed your evening. - We look forward to welcoming you back to try the evening for yourselves! More

The service was great. Greeted by the owner and chef, Paul, when arriving and straight away gave a very warm welcome. The rest of the staff couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. Constantly checking if we needed anything and full of enthusiasm. The room and food really made the stay great, but it was the people that work... More

My husband and I wanted to do something special for our tenth wedding anniversary. After doing some research we stumbled upon what seemed like an interesting experience. Let me tell you..it did not disappoint! The food was imaginative and delicious, the staff were friendly and accommodating, the table beautifully decorated. Each course was exciting and like nothing we had ever... More

After rave reviews from friends we decided to give the priory a try. Instantly feeling at home here we could relax and enjoy the many courses and interact with both the waiting staff and other diners. The quality and variety of the food was excellent and definitely best described as a tasting menu as most of the courses were small... More

Having spent a small fortune traveling up and down the uk dining at mitchelin stared restaurants I came across this place. My wife and I had the seven course taster menu at £40.00 each. At only £40 I was a little apprehensive but I had no need to, it was possibly the best twelve courses (yes twelve not seven) of... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Daniel, who greeted us in the carpark, was lovely, and the owner/head chef Paul also took time to welcome us to his hotel. Our room was gorgeous, quirky and with an amazing four poster bed. The whirlpool bath was amazing! The Serendipity experience was nothing short of mind-blowing!!... More

Where do you start to describe the tasting menu at Serendipity? Not here will you find the everyday swathes of food in so many hotel restaurants. Here every course (and there are many!!) is unique, presented in an individual way and an experience. Be prepared for 3 hours of unexpected treats and tastes from Paul the Priory's owner and gifted... More

The whole evening was lovely, it was a very relaxed meal served by friendly waiters with a wide range of tasty courses, all of which were really good and slightly different, in a good way!

Where to start. Every expectation about this hidden little gem of a place was exceeded. We stopped over in the hotel as it was our wedding anniversary, and the staff could not do enough to make us feel comfortable and right at home. Izzy, served us for the evening and ended up staying well past her working hours and kept... More

Your review is so appreciated and really captures what we are about, we might not be fancy and the building is old and always hungry for love and tlc but the spirit of the staff and house is something I am both proud and grateful for. Thanks for the mention of Izzy and Dan they are both troopers. Hope we... More

We are a tiny and quirky restaurant offering a relaxed mystery local tasting experience to twenty guests Monday to Saturday starting at 7 p.m. with canapes and winding down around 10.30 p.m. Our passion is very much in celebrating the ingredients and seasons of Lincolnshire through a humble menu of several small tasting courses in a relaxed, welcoming and definitely unpretentious atmosphere.
