The Wheatsheaf doubles up as a pub and restaurant, with diners and drinkers intermingled. This leads to a good atmosphere, but it's not a candlelit dinner for two location. However, the food is very good, with attentive staff. If I say that we might return...More

This place has changed pretty much all of its management and staff recently although you’ll notice next to no difference on the surface. If the service was casual to absent before then it’s just casual now. A bit more attention is needed but it is...More

Beautiful celebratory dinner and definitely one to go to when visiting the Cotswolds. The duck was cooked beautifully and the sticky toffee pudding, sauce and ice cream was lovely

We had two meals whilst staying at the Wheatsheaf. The menu was interesting, the food hot, served quickly and presented well. Drinks not cheap for a pub, and meals fairly costly.

Had a fantastic stay at the Wheatsheaf for my birthday. Hotel is so quaint and quirky. We were in room 5, which was small but perfect with the most amazing copper effect bath. Gorgeous array of toiletries. Only downside was the price of the food...More

A great meal at the Wheatsheaf tonight. Food was amazing and plentiful. Service was good, not overwhelming and efficient. Lexi was particularly good and made sure we had a great time. Thank you

I certainly saw several dogs in the restaurant and staff took no notice. Regards Rob
