After looking for somewhere to get breakfast we stumbled in here! Such a cute place and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had the cooked breakfast and it was amazing! So tasty and filling! As my Husband said the best mushrooms ever! It was so good we came back the day after for breakfast again reasonably priced and decent... More

Popped in spontaneously after walking along the sea front! - so warm and inviting, with really delicious fresh scones!

We only stopped in for coffee, but returned again the next time we were in Lyme Regis. This time we added cake. The deluxe hot chocolate had be our son got the thumbs up both times, the coffee was very good and the Dorset Apple Cake with clotted cream is definitely recommended.

We visited the Bell Cliff for a cup of coffee and (in my case) a toasted teacake. The lady who served us was very friendly but several other staff were standing around chatting with their arms folded. When we were asked if we could have soya milk with our coffee we were told (by one of the women with folded... More

We went into the Bell Cliff Restaurant as we were needing a breakfast. It was almost lunch time but breakfast was still offered to us. The staff were efficient. The waiting time for the breakfast seemed virtually nil. We were brought our tea and coffee and within minutes the breakfast arrived. Freshly cooked; eggs done to perfection and we thoroughly... I love Lyme Regis and have visited several times. Today we decided to have a cooked lunch at the Bell Cliff. Pleasant welcoming staff, quick service and an inviting menu, if only the food had been better. We chose homemade steak and kidney pie with vegetables and new potatoes. What we got was pale soggy pastry and I actually had... More

Went here for a full English breakfast. Food was lovely and staff were very friendly and gave us history information on the building. Would definitely recommend and go again.

A warm welcome on a very cold day....it's small with not a lot of space, but comfortable surroundings and a very civilised feel. Good menu choices; we opted for two all day breakfasts 9one vegetarian) and pea and ham soup. All arrived well-presented and were delicious, all freshly home-made...no cook chill in evidence here! A really pleasant place to eat,... More

Visited this establishment with friends for lunch while holidaying in the area, what a great find, great lunches with very reasonable portions and good prices, the food was hot, fresh and very tasty; the staff are very friendly. A must place to visit if visiting this town.
