Lovely lunch whilst in Padstow. Service was very good and the waitresses were pleasant and attentive. My salmon starter was delicious as was the plaice main course. My husband had mackerel for his main course which he said was excellent.

Adult food great - hake was fat and juicy. Kid menu limited. Kids pasta was OK. A kiddie portion of mussels would have hit the spot. Prices not too silly.

Managed to get a last minute booking for my birthday lunch with the family. The surroundings are lovely and we are huge fans of the Cornish Arms and RS Cafe so expected the same level of staff competence and service .Food delicious, however the long...More

Faultless. The food, the service, the locations distance to St Edmunds house (our accommodation) was excellent. We look forward to eating here again.

We had a good lunch at St Petroc's Bistro recently but it was not outstanding. We had fond memories of a delicious lunch there a few years ago. The atmosphere had changed to more of a café/ fish and chip shop. The waiting staff were...More

We chose the bistro opposed too the fish restaurant as 2 of the 4 of us don't particularly eat fish - hoping for a more varied menu, but have to agree with some other reviews - we felt like it was just a step up...More

There was nothing bad about this restaurant but equally there wasn't anything particularly exceptional. I was left with the impression that they were monatizing the Stein franchise rather than focusing on the customer experience. The steaks are good everything else our party had was mediocre....More

Yes. The child at the table next to me that was nursery age got a box of crayons and a colouring book. I'd say that was very child friendly wouldn't you?
