Great and friendly staff who work very well together. Food is spot on and booking a table is recommended as its always busy when the kitchen is open.

Expect a warm welcome. Four of us occupied two rooms in an annexe. They were comfortable, well presented and had comfy beds. The en suites were spotless. The room with the super-king bed was more spacious and worth the extra £5 per night. Breakfasts were...More

A traditional pub with warm and friendly staff and locals. A good selection of beers and other drinks and also offering a good menu with choices that can cater for all tastes.

Very friendly staff, very helpful but the mains were very bland. Broccoli & stilton soup was not bad, along with my baked camembert, the wedges not so good. Simple pub grub is great, as long as it's tasty..... sadly not this time.

Yes, we booked in advance [day before] and told them we had a dog so we were more in pub area than restaurant. No problem.
