We had one of the most enjoyable and least expensive lunches of our trip to Andalucia at this restaurant, situated on one of the main squares in this attractive and historic small town. The dishes were all simple, but tasty and well-presented. We had a clue what to order by watching what local people were eating at the next table.... More

A very popular restaurant in the Main Street of Baeza. We had to wait 10 minutes at the bar before a table became available. The wait was rewarded with a first class meal of shellfish and fish dishes. And as we were the only non-Spanish the waitress was very helpful and tried to speak English. Speaking Spanish myself she was... More

We had lunch here today and enjoyed it very much. Our waiter was super nice and he helped us in spite of his no English and our limited Spanish. Lovely room, great food.

We had lunch on the main square here. Although the waiter was friendly, the waitress was not. The food was all right. By all means, eat here if you are hungry.

Stopped here for lunch on our first day. No one understood english but there was an english version of the menu. Ordered 2 platters one of pate and cheese and one of cold-smoked meats--tabla de ahumados. Pate and cheese delicious, meats turned out to be fish! Waitress did not speak english but seemed to be indicating that smoked meat meant... More

We wandered into this restaurant for lunch because there was a TripAdvisor sticker in the window. It was fabulous. We ordered a number of items from menu, everything was superb. The decor was fun and it had a local clientele atmosphere. It was one of the best lunches we had in Spain!

Hidden among other proposals, we found this restaurant exceeding all expectations. Very good quality food, excellent cooking, could not be cheap, but reasonable quality/price.

We enjoyed a quietly sophisticated meal at Pajaro on a warm, Easter week evening. We shared a starter of jamon reserva - followed by a pork and beef steak, each accompanied with shoestring fries and cute, deep fried padron peppers. This was complemented by a gorgeous ribeiro wine and ice cream to share. Lovely service throughout.

We had a delicious meal here. Everything about Baeza was beautiful except the rude people--even the children! Wow. I would say this city is the worst quality of all of Spain. Rude drivers, rude shopkeepers, just a mean bunch. But, this restaurant really stood out as something wonderful. I almost didn't want to patronize anywhere because I was so appalled... More

This is another one of my favorite tabernas in Baeza. Try the artichokes; never disappointing!! Manchego cheese-superb and also chorizo. Accompany with a Carramimbre wine. Do not be timid; order the bottle!! Excellent service by owner, great location, if a bit expensive.
