We had a fantastic meal here. The owner was incredibly welcoming and gave us a free liquor drink as we had to wait a little while to be seated. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was lively. I would recommend.

We have been looking to having A Tasquinha, as it is consistently one of the most highly-rated restaurants in Nazaré, Portugal. But, it has signage dating back to last Christmas and New Year (2020) talking about how it will reopen in the new year. Unfortunately,...it looks likes this has not happened. We are sorry we will miss our chance to try their renowned cuisine, but have much more regret for all of the people who must have lost their jobs, and those who live here in Nazaré, who seem to have lost a cherished member of their community. So sorry. Perhaps Tasquinha will rise again!More

Great food and atmosphere at a wonderful family restaurant. We were warmly greeted by owner Carlos. The restaurant was full of happy patrons eating seafood. We had a perfectly grilled sea bass. The vegetables and salad were tasty. There were meat dishes available for those...that desired them. We had a look at the spotless kitchen. We would dine here again.More

We did not booked a table but we arrived at the opening of the restaurant and we were lucky to have a table ! The decoration of the restaurant is really nice as you pictured a typical Portuguese restaurant. The food was excellent. The service...was... fantastic.. we were there with our 5 months baby who did not want to stay in the stroller. It was quite complicated to eat our fish with a baby on the knees. Seeing that the boss came and took our baby on his arm to make sure we could enjoy our meal. After a waitress took care of our baby as well, went to show her the kitchen, the other room of the restaurant etc.. our baby girl enjoyed the tour and we enjoyed our meal. That was perfect !Thanks a lot!!More

In Nazare we are very lucky to find this place by tripadviser. They r serving delicious fresh seafood. Shrimps and seafood spaghetti were so good. We loved house wine. The staff was very kind and helpful.

We got the recommendation for this restaurant from "Rick Steves, Portugal Guide Book". They serve authentic Portuguese cuisine. It's a cosy place with tiled walls, picnic bench atmosphere, that can get busy for dinner. Make a reservarion early if the day, we got a table...for two. We had 'cataplana' a Portugese seafood stew cooked and served in a copper dish with a hinged lid which is clamped tight during cooking. The dish was for two people, it could easily feed three, but we ate most of it. Wonderful bread to soak up the delicious broth. This was one of the best meals we had on our trip to Portugal. You can't talk about the restaurant without mentioning the service and the owner Carlos and his son that make it truly an enjoyable evening in this family run establishment. Good dessert and glass of port to finish up......teriffic.More
