Wow selection of fresh fish, great atmosphere and service. Have to refer to the tomato rice as it is a show..

We came for a lunch with high expectations based on several reviews. Unfortunately this visit turned out to be one of the worst experiences ever. We ordered fish, freshly grilled with broccoli and a small bottle of white wine. Fish, dourada, was said to have...arrived today (monday) in the morning. Fish was totally dry, completely tasteless and almost cold. Nothing to do with a freshly grilled fish. Broccoli was forgotten but it would come asap. We reclaimed the fish but waiter was trying to convince us that there is nothing wrong with the fish which had just been grilled. Waiter was very unfriendly without any sympathy for disappointed customers. We asked for the bill, which included price for a whole bottle of wine. Waiter convinced that it was the price for 1/2 bottle and pushed us to pay. I asked to see again the wine list, which the waiter didn’t like at all. However, the wrong wine price was corrected by his colleegue. Nobody was at any point sorry for anything. What an unpleasant experience. Definitely we don’t recommend this place for anybody.More

We had a special stop on the way from Porto to Lisbon to visit this place again and eat another perfectly grilled red mullet.

The restaurant is highly reviewed and beautifully presented. We had not intended to eat here but changed our mind and decided to treat ourselves. We walked into the restaurant and were not really greeted, which is okay, but the layout and the style lends itself...to being seated by a server. We were sort of grunted at and told to sit wherever we wanted. No problem. We chose a table, but right away we both felt awkward, and witnessed the same for several other customers coming in after. The server was quite stern and not too friendly, he asked for out drinks order and seemed put out when we asked for a drinks menu. It turns out that they don't have one. He went to find an iPad with the drinks on it. Again we witnessed the a same for several other customers, just awkward. We ordered steaks, we weren't asked how we wanted them cooked. The food was nice, but nothing to phone home about. Maybe we went on a bad day, but there was no atmosphere, no music, bad service. No one was laughing or talking or seemingly enjoying themselves. We just regretted it, especially as it was the last meal of the holiday. The service by one particular head server set the tone, really. Otherwise, I think it may have been a much more pleasant experience. I'm sorry to leave a poor review but it was very disappointing and not a good experience.More

Loved everything about this restaurant. Attentive and professional wait staff, huge seafood menu, extensive wine list, and even a lobster/crab tank. We shared the seafood Cataplana. If you love shellfish I would highly recommend. I could have bathed in the broth. So very good. The...tapas options were delicious as well. Loved the mackeral pate. You can also chose a fresh fish or lobster/crab to cook if you would like.More
