Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great food as usual but with the new menu, it will break the bank. I was shocked at the new menu prices. The only steak on the menu was $70. I can go to an upscale steakhouse in La Jolla or dallas and get a better steak for $45. The lamb shoulder was decent and priced at $40. The wine menu is awful. They have low end wines priced too high. The only wines listed for $12/glass are not worth drinking. Suffice it to say, it cost me a fortune to have 2 glasses of wine (decent glass priced at $22/6oz glass), a steak, and an appetizer. I love Theos but I won’t be back bc I’m still stinging from the sticker shock. On the upside: the service is phenomenal and can’t be beat.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere both inside and outside. The menu is unique and the food is flavorful and well prepared. My husband and I had the muscles and chorizo and the bones and toast as apps. Yum, yum, yum! We split the lamb shank and would definitely order it again. The outside seating area was great and we enjoyed people watching as we sipped our Old Fashions. The services was impeccable. A team of people thoughtfully delivered our food and we were well taken care of. This is a great place for a romantic night out.

We went out for the first time in many months for a romantic dinner. Theo’s is a special restaurant. It has 3 areas outside for casual, a bar with the full menu, and our choice the elegant quiet restaurant side. Our waiter, Chad, was very attentive and knowledgeable. He was especially helpful with checking on ingredients for me, I have some allergies. We were able to find several things that I could eat. Everything was delicious and safe for me to eat. We greatly enjoyed our romantic dinner out. Thank you Theo’s for a wonderful dinner.

Great location. Great atmosphere. Prices reflect food quality. Service was very good. We rsvp pre-concert on a Tuesday. Hubby had Shrimp Tagliatelle. I had Steak and Eggs. Both very good. Dessert-salted Carmel ice cream and Lemon Tart.

Excellent meal with awesome service and a classy old school atmosphere. I had the salmon which was excellent, perfectly prepared and tasty sides. Do yourself a favor and get the bread service, very tasty! Had a great bottle of wine as well and it was a Pinot which I’m not usually a fan of.

If you like butter and salt as a main course, you’ll likely be wildly satisfied as that’s all I could taste in the side dishes that came with the salmon.
If the service had been outstanding I’d probably give it a second chance, but we had below average drinks/food with an above average price… so we won’t be back anytime soon.

Excellent spot to grab a nice glass of wine and a delicious charcuterie board nestled into tufted leather couch with dim lighting in a dark and swanky room. Very cool ambiance going with chill beats jamming.

The dinner and atmosphere at Theo's are great. The service was on the spot and very much enjoyed the Arctic Char (fish of the day) and the ceasars salad. Both were excellent choices.

The food was incredible. The chef was friendly and knowledgeable and very patient and creative in dealing with food allergies. The flavors were complex, layer after layer joined together into a lasting taste that both teased the palate and satisfied the stomach. The service was timeless and flawless. They had an excellent selection of cocktails and wine as well.

My wife and I took family here the other night. We had a great meal. My wife’s steak was excellent. My pork chop was huge and good. We had a great bottle of wine with attentive service. Thank goodness they had valet parking.

We had a drink at the very crowded bar, where the other customers were friendly and busy bartender was nice and get our glasses full. They make their own tonic water! Then we had dinner in the much quieter back restaurant, which was classy and lovely. Upscale, creative food. I had the tuna special, which was delicious and my wife has fettucini alfredo, which was ok. The deviled eggs appetizer was really, really good. Creamy and a hint of truffle oil. The waiter was friendly, had a great sense of humor, and was there just when we needed him and not otherwise. A bit pricey ($150 + tip for two of us), but it was a splurge.

Yummy locally owned greatness with a spectacular patio! Great happy hour also! Inside there is a lounge/bar side that's casual and a fine dining side for the romancing.
