Read the reviews and always like to check out the quaint smaller places that are off the beaten path. Maria greated us as soon as we walked in very warmly and with a bug smile throughout our meal she was extremely pleasant which made our dining experience excellent and in my book that alone would bring me back; however, let’s get to the food. To the many reviews that speak of the foods flavor being lacking, I would have to agree. My wife’s piccata had so little lemon that she added lemon just to get the flavor in her dish, but let me back up for a moment, we started with the fried zucchini with garlic ranch dipping sauce (they could have kept the dip), love zucchini but that sauce did nothing but distract from the flavor of the zucchini. I had the chicken Marsala which I usually enjoy no matter which Italian restaurant we visit, and this was good but that was all just good or rather ok. Overall I would have to say that for the price and quality of the food it is mediocre and about equal to most Italian chain restaurants. Sorry Renzo’s just the way we felt. Now, if you want warm welcoming service with ordinary food like those other places this I would have to say is the better choice, the other servers we observed appeared to be just as friendly as Maria.

My husband and I made our first visit for dinner last night. The atmosphere is casual, relaxed, and the smaller size helps it feel intimate. As we waited for our food we noticed a good amount of take out traffic, which seems positive. My husband ordered chicken parmesan, which he thoroughly enjoyed, basically licking his dish clean. He chose the caesar side salad and loved the housemade croutons and dressing. The romaine was fresh, no gross core pieces or wilted bits. After sampling his croutons I told him that Renzo's should add a crouton appetizer basket and my husband enthusiatically agreed and said it should be served with their casear dressing. I'd order a basket of croutons, wouldn't you? I chose the meatball sub. It was yummy! The sub was quite large, with 8 small to medium meatballs. The meatballs were a tad dry, but I think this had to do w/ broiling the mozzarella on top. They were still good and had a decent spice kick. The pamesan fries that came with the sub were perfectly dark golden brown, just how I like them, w/ a hint of parmesan sprinkles. Loved it. We also received a few pieces of garlic bread which we both enjoyed....it was thick sliced bread w/ a touch of butter or oil and seasoning. I wish I could have ordered dessert, but I just didn't have room. We'll definitely return to Renzo's and sooner than later.

My wife and I discovered Renzo’s this fall during our visits to Fayetteville on Razorback football weekends. We have dined three times this fall. We started each meal by sharing the Caprese salad. The homemade pesto sauce that accompanies the sliced tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil is a highlight. Each time my wife has gotten the lasagna. She has taken half of the serving home with her because it is a very generous sized serving. On our first visit I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and shrimp. It was good but I thought the sauce was too runny. The next two times we visited, I ordered the Florentino sirloin, mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables. The lasagna and steaks keep us coming back.

I highly recommend starting a baker portobello mushroom appetizer. We got the original. The smothered pork tenderloin was outstanding. I would order it again! Service was excellent. Sweet, quaint & cozy off the beaten path Italian restaurant. We will return. They offered a $2/ glass Corkage fee for bringing in our own wine which we appreciated!

On a trip to Fayetteville, AR. I stopped for lunch at Renzo's Pasta & Italian Steakhouse. I had the Sausage and Peppers a la Tony. It was excellent. Also tried the fried Calamari, which was very enjoyable. Small Ceasars salad was very tasty. Highly recommend Renzo's a try.

Renzo’s Pasta and Italian Steakhouse was not good. All night we were looking for a restaurant, then found this place, and let me tell you… the other ratings do not match my experience. My family and I arrived and got seated at a reasonable time. Our waitress was fine and attentive. We all ordered appetizers and salads which came out at a normal time, but when I had my first bite of the calamari it was super underwhelming, the marinara was bland and the squid was not fresh. For my main meal, I had the spaghetti and meatballs, which were also bland. There was a large amount of water in my dish, the noodles were basic, the meatballs were not fresh, and the meal was nothing more than plain and flavorless. This place is overhyped and there is nothing special about it. We decided to not stay to have dessert. We received the check, which was way overpriced for the quality of our meals. We paid, left, and we all said we are never coming back. I will never understand why this place is so highly rated.

Great Italian restaurant. Went with my husband and teen kid and food was amazing. My kid ate the stake with mash potatoes, my husband the rib eye with steamed vegetables and I ate the raviolis. Everything very tasty and well served. We shared a tiramisu and was great. Nice service too and great inside ambiance.

I have eaten at Renzo's several times in the past year. It is by far ... BY FAR ... the best Italian restaurant in Northwest Arkansas. The spaghetti marinara sauce is magnificent, spicy, but not too much. The lemon cream sauce (I rarely order it elsewhere because it is seldom done well) is exquisite. I grew up in St Louis, and loved to eat on the Hill. Renzo's is as good as or better than any restaurant I have eaten at on the Hill. There is simply no downside to this place. If you have not tried it, treat yourself. You will not regret it.

The reviews seemed ok, two by the same person and others seemed generically planted? But we tried it anyhow.
Had the spag and meatballs, bland and over cooked spag. Wife had steak, was way over cooked and very spicy. Limited options on drinks . Server cared more about visiting with friends than tables.
Bread was good as was dessert. No need to try this pace again, we were one of only two tables on an early Friday night. Our friends didn’t even come close to finishing their dishes either. But it was convenient and quick!

This restaurant has only been open a few months. (The original is in Fayetteville; I have not eaten there.) I tried it simply because I like Italian restaurants, and I was incredibly impressed.
I grew up in St Louis, and frequently eat on the Hill; in fact, every visit (2-3 times per year) includes at least one trip there. Renzo's is better than most of them, and easily competes with the best on the Hill. Tontitown's Italian restaurants are excellent, but I would choose Renzo's over any of them.
Tonight I had the chicken marsala, not one of my favorite dishes, but this was simply awesome. I have never had a better marsala sauce.
Finally, the dish by which I judge any Italian restaurant ... spaghetti and meatballs. Renzo's version is spicy and incredibly delicious. In fact, I had it three times before I was willing to try anything else.
You owe it to yourself to try this restaurant.

What a great find. This restaurant is in a strip mall and makes you second guess trying it. But as soon as you enter you immediately know it is going to be good. We had a variety things. Fried ravioli, salads and soup, pasta with Rosa sauce and steak. It all was incredible. Homemade food done the right way. I highly recommend this place…

We ordered Renzo’s for pick up during this covid19 shut down. I had never been here, but it popped up during a search. I called and Roger was great on the phone. I ordered a ribeye, NY strip, and tiramisu. The steaks were really good. My husband got a Caesar with his and I got the regular salad, both good. The mashed potatoes were good, a little salty, and the tiramisu was really good. I am anxious to try his Italian. Good food, fabulous service, and definitely worth a try. We will go back.!

Go to Olive Garden or noodles if you want local. Rude disrespectful staff and management. Waited over an hour for a reservation, and they hen got kicked out by the bartender whilst having a private conversation with my date which the bartender did not care for. Ran by children who have no idea what they are doing

Don't play choir-boy...you were asked to leave after you cursed out the manager for having to wait for a table. You were sitting at the bar and could have eaten your meal there if you were in such a hurry. You have hit all social media with your childish embellishments. Do not enter any of our properties or you will be charged with trespass. BTW, you are on cams and it recorded your behavior and the vulgarities shouted at staff. Cease and desist immediately.

I am so happy I found Renzo’s! I contacted the restaurant online and Christina called me right away. Her quick response was reflective of her customer service. I enjoyed the atmosphere as much as the food! Thank you Christina for the hospitality. Thank you Renzo’s for delicious food!

We ordered takeout. I was a little skeptical when I pulled up to a strip mall and it was next to a laundry mat. The windows had dark blinds so you wouldn't see in. It was quaint and looked like a locals kind of place. Our food was really good! I was hoping for bread with the meal.
