Look if you want real service and place that is consistentlyrics good all time. I had the full breakfast with brown bread. The taste of everything was delicious. Christine and Damien served me and one of the new troops came down to ask me was everything OK with my breakfast. Christine is great crack. They give a free refill of... More

The place is perfect for a cheap but good dinner. The setting is really basic. Bright light, no music and a feeling that your in a canteen rather than a restaurant. Nevertheless, prices are low and the quality of the food is good so it's a good place when you're on a budget.

We visited this place on our way to France. We had decided to do a walk around with our one day layover and discovered this place. It was a nice relaxing place to sit outside and enjoy the local views. The food was good but not great. I would go again just for the ambiance.

Our first visit here was for lunch - sausage & mash, and fish & chips, both of which dishes were up to the standard one would expect from this fine chain of pubs. The bar and table service was exemplary and the toilets were indeed deserving of their award winning status. Although large, clean and pleasantly comfortable the pub, perhaps... More

We arrived on a Monday evening. It wasn't busy and there were maybe 8 or 10 tables of customers. The menu options and prices looked good. We waited for about 15-20 minutes. A server passed our table twice and never even acknowledged us. We could see a couple of employees talking to each other near what seemed to be the... More

Enjoyed a lovely meal, salmon for me and ribs for my husband. Both faultless, cooked and presented to perfection, the ribs fell off the bone, the way we like them, the salmon was perfect, the accompanying salad so fresh. Our waitress, Emily was lovely and looked after us throughout. Drinks great value, my husband, a Guinness drinker, was more than... More
