On some visits the food has been great, other times it has been below par. But nice setting and staff are always nice.

We had 2 lunches and a dinner meals because it is addictive. The beef stew and vegetable soup are two recipes I wish I could duplicate. For dinner the local fish was fabulous. Nice presentation, even better taste. Friendly service at the bar and restaurant. Highly recommend.

The new chef started today, and has set a great standard. Mum had the Chinese Duck Breast, which was served on a bed of noodles, accompanied by a gorgeous Duck Spring Roll. Pink and juicy, with good presentation. I had the Lobster Thermidor, and it was stunning! Packed with meat, a lovely sauce, and a crisp Parmesan crust. Stuffed, and... More

Food was very very poor wouldn't fill a whole in your tooth I wouldn't be in a rush to go back have ate in both it and the bayview and has no comparison to it although the staff were friendly it doesn't make up for the poor food we received.

Went to Bank Bistro today for an anniversary meal. Have been many times before and was never disappointed. Today was no exception. We were greeted with an anniversary card on the table and shortly after we sat down my wife was given a lovely bunch of flowers. The service was outstanding - friendly, welcoming and courteous and the food was... More

Went here for lunch with two families. Good food, prompt and friendly service, very welcoming to our children, excellent value, generous portions - even for the children's menu, appeared rightly popular... They made a very good bloody mary cocktail to exact specifications!!

My friend and I recently visited the stepping stone for a drink. We ordered our alcoholic beverages only to have a certain member of staff be rude to us. We showed our id to prove our age only to have him say to us that we look about 12 (we're 18) and made snarky comments about us to other people... More
